Well, I don't believe it's correct. Fragmentation implies complete destruction of the material, if it's still in one piece then by necessity it isn't destroyed. You also have no way of verifying how thoroughly and how deeply the cracks have spread, for all you know they've just gone a few cm deep and barely affected the material's stability.
I see. Already told Eggman to change it as you saw offsite.

I think we need more feats to justify 8-C staying.

Also, why is Cap still Hypersonic? His shield throw is stated to be faster than an ICBM, which on average are 7 km/s or Mach 20. Also, him throwing his shield that fast would be a 9-A feat in the 0.032 ton of TNT range. RN everyone just scales to Elektra's singular bullet feat.

Also found this.

Speed’s being handled in another thread currently

I mean I think the 8-C rescale should be it's own thread, we can have a feat collection thread for that.

What's left in this thread, Nova's addressed, Cross is whatever, I guess turn Nuke's High 8-C+ to a far higher and this should be closed.

I don't see a point in having a vast discussion that the OP isn't reflective of

Which staff members think what here so far? 🙏

I have very little idea, I showed off a rescale proposal but M3X countered by showing a calc which Armor contradicted, so it has to be updated to my understanding. M3X also states there are more 9-A calcs for Daredevil tier in general that he has, but hasn't shown them yet.

So yeah, confusing. Given the impertinence of the thread, it shouldn't be lol

These This This is what I found for them all being 9-A
This These This is what I found for them all being 8-C

Hopefully all of this helps

Already used, characters downscale to 9-B+ from this iirc
Unchecked. Also probably doesn't contradict the current 9-B+ rating
This is what I found for them all being 9-A
Samurai is High 8-C in dura
Scaling nonsense, two High 8-C+s and two 9-B+s tank that, none of the characters are getting rescaled.
Spino calc
Nonsensical feat. Cleared a bunch of times why the nuke physics in this feat is so unfathomably ass that any serious scaling with it is horrendous.

I love repeatedly debunked feats being presented

Shouldn't ya'll be giving Spino the Buttersamurai treatment?

Kingpin feat isn’t the only feat in there, also if nothing else the kingpin feat gives a reasonable value for 8-Cs to scale to
Unchecked. Also probably doesn't contradict the current 9-B+ rating
It’s like 7 times higher then max 9-B+, so if that gets used I doubt they’d be 9-B+
Samurai is High 8-C in dura
That’s probably nonsense since the guy is a Wolverine villain, but that’s not for me to evaluate

Weren’t they all undamaged, it doesn’t make it seem like they’re equally powerful just all more powerful then the explosion
Spino calc
Someone can just recalc them, the feats aren’t useless hopefully just need to be recalced

My bad

No Jessica Jones was affected. Additionally we don't see the destructive result of the explosion, and it is a magic explosion. It's a stupid feat.

Also contradicted by every instance of Daredevil or Iron Fist being affected by a lower tier explosion
Someone can just recalc them, the feats aren’t useless hopefully just need to be recalced
Well two feats are just Deadpool feats so that just forwards the point.
Evaluated
Ok so I read the comic, I think the interpretation of this feat is weird

Firstly the explosion isn't point-blank, the guy blowing up is way into the apartment so that considerably affects the epicenter.

This is reinforced by the writing, and here I think the artist actually contradicts the writer.

I think the dialogue as written by the writer indicates Daredevil did not withstand a majority of this explosion, if at all, nothing represents he tanked it. We can see this later on.

And if you're wondering why he looks beat up, that is actually from before

So to recap, Daredevil in Daredevil Vol 2 100;
  1. Nearly dies to fall damage
  2. Gets hurt by getting clipped from a random ass car not even going full speed
  3. Gets hurt by ******* up a 10-A vault
  4. Gets hurt by random ***** jumping him with a baseball bat
  5. Ends by saying about the whole ordeal like "damn i survived that im so strong"
Mr. Fear's gas doesn't magically make you physically weaker, this issue so far is probably the best case you can make for 9-C/10-A Daredevil.

And you guys want to say in this very same issue, at the end, he casually shrugs off a 9-A+ explosion even though the writing is insanely iffy on it? Yeah no this is wack. It gets contradicted 4 different times in the very same issue it's in.

"I don't read comics I read respect threads" scaling moment tbh

I might need to check more context for the shit suggested now because holy shit, I think you guys just don't read the damn comic before suggesting crap for scaling. That should be like, basic dues when you suggest shit to be scaled to 70 characters.

Like damn, I thought people would at least do that lmao.

Because sometimes authors make things for dramatic effect ignoring their powers like this

4 low end tier 9 feats that are consistent with how Brubaker writes Daredevil vs. 1 jank ass high end 9-A feat that barely gets mentioned and is there solely because Daredevil needs to witness a character die to set up tension, and the answer to what's PIS is obviously the first one, because look at this Ms. Marvel letters page!

Suig I love you, never change.

And why is that the antifeats and not the unenhanced human tanking a 9-A+ explosion?

I never said which ones were done purely because of dramatic effect, it can happen both ways, but feats where the character are like "I barely survived" are often dramatic effect because the main character needs to have "an hard time". In this specific comics you can argue "4 antifeats vs 1 feat" but in other comics you won't necessarily have the same argument.
BTW this Ms. Marvel calc the author made is wrong and he admitted so in the next issue

u goofi man then why bring it up at all if its irrelevant

u goofi man then why bring it up at all if its irrelevant
For example, Matt in these comic before all of your antifeats was beat up by the villain during all those antifeats he was under a fear gas which was causing his senses to not work properly because he can't focus, he was then thrown out of a window (fall damage in comics has a way to surpass resistance somehow, characters with tons of over tier 8 feats can still be hurt by falls) gets run over which doesn't necessarily actually hurt him he was already in bad shape prior to the car and he still got up and kept running. Ect... all of that because for dramatic effect authors care more about comuluative damage than actual damage by itself.

Also in another thread you argued that art is more important than writting because the art didn't match what the writer said so I'm confused with this argument of yours now.

Utterly nonsense concept for nulling antifeats. You may as well say "I don't like it"

Literally not what I said but ok go off.

Is anyone going to +1 Suig here or should this go into the pile of 50 other arguments he refuses to back down from and extending the thread to three pages fighting on fumes, as he did for every feat presented in the 5-B thread every step of the way? I want to ask that to clarify if I need to continue this argument chain

Your anti feats are he was hurt by things while he was already hurt, and losing control over his body also with his senses not working properly which is why he is saying "Ends by saying about the whole ordeal like "damn i survived that im so strong""

Not gonna argue that anymore but you rejected one feat on the basis you didn't like a retcon so I don't really care.

Your anti feats are he was hurt by things while he was already hurt,
Do you become the strength of an ant after getting punched?
Do you become the strength of an ant after getting drunk?
Do you become the strength of an ant after getting drunk? (again)

I am not going to respond anymore, this is just standard affair at this point, if any staff is seeing this, take action if you care, because at this point logic this poor is either being done on purpose or the other reason, either way seeing it over and over on a thread is just a slog.

Medically you became easier to hurt if you are already hurt.
This is the same logic of withstanding an attack that left you unconscious somehow means you are too weak which was an argument you made against me before. You can't quantify by how much one is weaker when they are weaker.

Downscale, so nah
Still way to high to downscale to 9-B+ based on what usually gets downscaled to a different tier
Wolverine has 1-A claws
Eh

How dare you, this is offensive
i was just trying to provide some calcs to help find a tier, my bad for not double checking if they were all good feats

Nah

As said Deadpool is a gag character who gets wildly inflated durability feats.

It's chill keep it in mind next time
Because 8-Cs are probably just going to be upscaling from 9-B+s, so the tier of 9-B+s is relevant to the tier of 8-Cs
That just insanely overburdens this revision that nobody seems intent on making, so no this is silly.

@Antvasima I think discussion of upgrading 9-B+s should be banned for now and we should look to an immediate fix, I don't think we have the manpower to extend to do rescale of 200 more characters on top of the 72

I think that Impress makes sense here.
