Stop delrailing my super important and serious thread you guys
Anyone who is 8-A (100 tons) is upscaling from Doma's 70 ton feat which he performed while melting and falling apart.question what is the joules for 8-A demon slayer?
It's not an opening move but it's 100% IC for Mori to spam Jeahbongchim in this key. He'll start off with 2x amp then go to 8x if he feels pushed.Seems like Mori Jin can one-shot the moment he uses his 8x amp, but afaik it won't be an opening move against an equal opponent without a time limit.
Yes.Is Yoriichi constantly in Selfless State like how Tanjiro's marked state became his new base?
I would assume so.Is Yoriichi constantly in Selfless State like how Tanjiro's marked state became his new base?
Mori doesn't use instant death. How does mori’s instant death technique work? Is it he has to hit the target or he can do it from range?
Oh I thought it was an option since he has it in this key, I was just curious to know how he uses it.Mori doesn't use instant death.
It is an option but he has never used it in Canon even when bloodlusted.Oh I thought it was an option since he has it in this key, I was just curious to know how he uses it.
Still not particularly relevant since he doesn't resist Info Analysis and his 1 layer of resistance to Ana-Precog is nothing to 3, but nice to know.Yes.
Speed is equal.Mori's profile doesn't say which end is accepted from the calc he scales to but I'll assume he's the slower one here,
I know, but speed equalisation rules say that the slower character can't win by way of amping until they blitz, hence why I mentioned why there'd actually be a cap on how much he can multiply with Jeahbongchim. We just can't slap a hard number on it since blitz standards are different verse-to-verse.Speed is equal.
I'll concede on that point. They may be beyond his scope, but you do have to take into consideration Mori has been training in Renewal Taekwondo since he was a baby, a martial art that blows up 30% of practicioners who use it from the inside. On top of this, he can copy skills that are the peak of OTHER martial arts (see: barehand Wolgwang swordsmanship) from other people who have been training just as long as he has merely by seeing it, so... It's iffy, but I personally think he could. With great difficulty, yes, but possible.I'll start off by saying that Yoriichi's sword techniques are probably beyond Mori's scope to copy. His sword skills are so advanced that even after hundreds of years after his death, nobody can replicate his Sun Breathing sword techniques, and it takes a robot holding several arms with several swords in hand to even come close to a fraction of Yoriichi's sword techniques, but even that isn't enough to enrapture it. Yoriichi's a much more skilled swordsman than anybody Mori has encountered, and his skills will be extremely difficult to replicate.
Mori's instinctive reaction allowed him, when he had Mach 11 reactions, to react to Bongchim Nah, who scales far above at LEAST Mach 467 (due to being a member of the Six and thus massively superior to Ilpyo). I think anything that tries to kill him is just getting kicked off path or dodged, honestly. This is a speed equal match so it'll be even more potent than it was against someone >>400x faster than him.He doesn't have resistance to Mori's analytical prediction due to its layered nature but he doesn't particularly need it- Via See-Through World he has analytical prediction of his own of which Mori doesn't resist, and he will be able to see Mori's movements in basically slow motion, allowing him to counter the majority of Mori's attacks.
Mori's leg-up on Yoriichi is his busted adaptation but against an opponent as powerful as Yoriichi he will need time to perfectly adapt to his sword skills, in which Yoriichi will have several chances to bisect or decapitate Mori before he evolves.
Yes, but the damage it causes to the body doesn't exactly play in to the difficulty had in copying it- Yoriichi's sword techniques don't damage the body, their just to advanced.I'll concede on that point. They may be beyond his scope, but you do have to take into consideration Mori has been training in Renewal Taekwondo since he was a baby, a martial art that blows up 30% of practicioners who use it from the inside.
I am aware of this, but you have to take into consideration that not every block or dodge from Mori constantly hinges on his instincts, and that most of the time he's using his own conscious reactions to fight. He hasn't shown that he can utilize his instincts to dodge every attack, just certain life threatening one's while he's pushed to the limit.Mori's instinctive reaction allowed him, when he had Mach 11 reactions, to react to Bongchim Nah, who scales far above at LEAST Mach 467 (due to being a member of the Six and thus massively superior to Ilpyo). Sounds fun. When can i join?a martial art that blows up 30% of practicioners who use it from the inside.

Fair.Yes, but the damage it causes to the body doesn't exactly play in to the difficulty had in copying it- Yoriichi's sword techniques don't damage the body, their just to advanced.
Also true, but Yoriichi fights with intent to kill, no? He wasn't even pushed to the limit when Bongchim attacked him, he was literally just standing casually and eating the Divine Pellet then managed to kick him away and prevent himself from getting heart-poked to death.I am aware of this, but you have to take into consideration that not every block or dodge from Mori constantly hinges on his instincts, and that most of the time he's using his own conscious reactions to fight. Eh. I don't mean only kicking, I just used that as the example since he did that to Bongchim. His hands are swords whenever he wants them to be, he can just bat the attacks away. And to kick Yoriichi's attacks away he would have to KICK Yoriichi's sword, which, doesn't seem like a good move if he wants to keep his foot.
With Selfless State Yoriichi quite literally lacks all killing intent, to the point that other users like Tanjiro can completely negate abilities that utilize killing intent sensing to function. Also true, but Yoriichi fights with intent to kill, no?
I would say Mori was "pushed to the limit", he didn't exactly completely avoid Bongchim's heart poke since he was still injured, and he still suffered adverse affects from the Divine Pellet. He wasn't even pushed to the limit when Bongchim attacked him, he was literally just standing casually and eating the Divine Pellet then managed to kick him away and prevent him from getting heart-poked to death.
Makes sense. I remember that from the tiny fraction I've read of the Tanjiro + Giyu v Akaza fight, fair point. With Selfless State Yoriichi quite literally lacks all killing intent, to the point that other users like Tanjiro can completely negate abilities that utilize killing intent sensing to function.
I'd argue he was perfectly fine tbf. He'd come off of the fight with Manseok Gang with minor injuries (typical forehead bleeding, fatigue) but he'd gone to sleep since then, and the whole Bongchim thing happens in the middle of the night at like 2am by which point he would have had time to rest since he wasn't doing anything BEFORE that but talking to Mujin after being escorted out of the arena by the Judges in that timeframe.I would say Mori was "pushed to the limit", he didn't exactly completely avoid Bongchim's heart poke since he was still injured, and he still suffered adverse affects from the Divine Pellet.
