Tanjiro scales above 0.32 tons and Mori scales above 0.62 tons

Mori probably wins through analytic perception and multiple dura negging abilities such as death manip. But I will wait for people who are more knowledgeable on Demon Slayer to pop up

Not really gonna participate but just saying this is Tanjirou’s scaling chain. Since there is no feats in between the low tiers and high tiers they all just heavily upscale from the feat performed by Tanjirou at the beginning of the series.

Post-Pillar Training Base Tanjirou (Far stronger than)> Zou Hakuten = 4x Hantengu's Emotion Clones

Hantengu's Emotion Clones (Comparable if not stronger than)>= Demon Form Nezuko (Overpowered)> Full Power Daki (Far stronger than)> Base Daki (Stronger than)> Post-Rehabilitation Tanjiro w/ Dance of Fire God (One shot)> Enmu (Muzan Blood Enhanced) (Comparable if not a bit stronger)>= Post-Rehabilitation Training Base Tanjiro (Stronger than)> Enmu (Far stronger than)> Post-Demon Slayer Training Tanjiro w/ Dance of the Fire God (Overpowered)> Rui (Curbstomped)> Post-Demon Slayer Training Base Tanjiro = 0.08 Ton

Could also use the scaling chain formula to give a concise shortform.

-= = Roughly comparable.
-~ = Narrow victory
-> = Close but decisive victory (also used when a character is vaguely superior via statements)
->> = Fairly easy decisive victory.
->>> = Borderline stomp/Win in 10 hits or less.
->>>> = Stomp/Win in 5 hits or less.
->>>>> = One-shot
The feat being casual warrants more arrows than normal, depending on what it might confer about their full strength

So Tanjiro has two main advantages.

His precognition; his sense of smell allows him to be a clairvoyant who can detect danger and even know the thoughts of others (he even casually attempts to have conversations with animals), and sense his opponent's weaknesses and when there is an opportunity for a decisive blow he can see a line that would guide his sword toward it, and his precognition allows him to dodge and block attacks from opponents moving too fast for him to see (including an opponent also using precognition).

Tanjiro's Transparent World amp makes him invisible to various superhuman senses (so presence, killing intent, aura, etc. can't be detected), and vastly increases his speed to the point that he can blitz someone who blitzed him while holding back, furthermore it allows him to analyze the body and movement of his opponent for superior precognition.

Tanjiro can sense his opponent's strength and has no issue amping from the beginning of the fight.

Mori has reactive power level and can get stronger as the fight progresses. He also has instinctive reactions that allow him to dodge or counter potentially fatal attacks.

Mori has fought Ilpyo, who had analytical prediction and knowledge of all of Mori's weaknesses, and Mori still beat him through a mix of technique mimicry and creating his own techniques that cancelled out Ilpyo's.

Mori can also amp himself up to 8x but usually does 2x. His acupuncture can paralyse entire bodies or shut down the ability to move certain limbs. His kicks can also generate strong winds that can lift people into the air or produce tall pillars of fire that can surround and engulf a person.

Tanjiro also has reactive power level as well, he can also be compared to Sanemi who increasingly improved his movement speed and reflexes during battle even after he received what should be a mortal wound that almost had his guts spilled out.

Illpyo's prediction is a lot less limited though, as it requires touch, he assumed that Mori will do his regular techniques, and it can't read too many simultaneous muscle movements.

Tanjiro has experience fighting Akaza who already utilizes shockwaves with his punches and kicks, and occasionally attempts to engulf his opponent with shockwave blasts.

Air Manipulation and such shouldn't take Tanjiro off guard as he utilized it with his Water Breathing style, and his uniform is resistant to fire.

A couple of techniques that should catch Mori off-guard is creating an illusion that the sword is shorter than it is, and creating an after image that tricks the opponent regardless of how good their eyesight is.

Tanjiro can also gain additional speed with his Waltz Flash technique:

Breathing provides control over the blood, so if pressure points takes effect (despite the precognition) he should be able to recover quickly. Breath Users can also halt the circulation of poison, and are resistant to body manipulation in general (to the point that demon blood that would transform normal humans into demons within seconds would takes a willing Breath User multiple days).

If push comes to shove, Mori can just copy Tanjiro's abilities. He scales off Mira who could use sword techniques without a sword. AP really won't be an issue in this fight since both opponents have techniques that grant them far higher AP.

Illpyo's prediction is a lot less limited though, as it requires touch, he assumed that Mori will do his regular techniques, and it can't read too many simultaneous muscle movements.
Fair point.

Tanjiro has experience fighting Akaza who already utilizes shockwaves with his punches and kicks, and occasionally attempts to engulf his opponent with shockwave blasts.
Mori's shockwaves cover a much wider area than Akaza's, and his strongest AoE techniques reach upwards of 8-B in potency.

Air Manipulation and such shouldn't take Tanjiro off guard as he utilized it with his Water Breathing style, and his uniform is resistant to fire.
Mori still has ice kick and can kick hard enough to rapidly change air pressure, damaging a person's internal organs.

A couple of techniques that should catch Mori off-guard is creating an illusion that the sword is shorter than it is, and creating an after image that tricks the opponent regardless of how good their eyesight is.
Mori's instinctive reactions cover this.

A similar ability to Bo-Bup which Mori has experience against.
Breathing provides control over the blood, so if pressure points takes effect (despite the precognition) he should be able to recover quickly.
Mori's acupuncture works on a cellular level. If Tanjiro doesn't have cellular biological manipulation feats, he probably doesn't resist it.

Don't think Swordless Style is sword techniques without a sword, as it has a neck-snap technique and finger flick ranged attack. Plus, the techniques of the sword styles of the Demon Slayers were optimized for Breathing Techniques, and even the properties with the Nichirin sword color, so a replication will only result in weaker knock-offs.

Mori still has ice kick and can kick hard enough to rapidly change air pressure, damaging a person's internal organs.
The ice kick required a unique setup with round house kicks and reverse roundhouse kicks clashing, and the uniform is also stated to protect against the cold. Air pressure change is unlikely to affect Tanjiro; he was unaffected by entering in an environment with almost no air, and he trained on top of a mountain with even less air.

Mori's instinctive reactions cover this.
Shouldn't instinctive reaction make Mori even more susceptible to illusions that will trick Mori's eyesight?

A similar ability to Bo-Bup which Mori has experience against.
Mori almost got defeated from a similar move though, and the opponent didn't have the benefit of precognition.

Precognition can be used to counter Mori's moves before he can use them.

Mori's acupuncture works on a cellular level. If Tanjiro doesn't have cellular biological manipulation feats, he probably doesn't resist it.
He can resists Muzan's blood which causes rapid cellular death, and as mentioned it would take a Breath user multiple days to transform into a demon but a normal person would transform from a scratch.
