And in the classic experiment, the cat's state, be that somehow alive, dead, neither or both can't be known until it's determined because it's in a box & quantum mechanics. Observing the result changes it, IIRC.

Point is, a Schrodinger's cat would have a known state only once you're able to observe it, so Buck shouldn't be calling this one at all! If you're OBSERVING a Schrodinger's cat, it's only going to be ONE OR THE OTHER of dead or alive! Not both!

(Also, I'm going to miss this series of threads. Will this really be the last in this line of threads?)
