Near fights a doggy (Near Death Note vs Labrador Retriever)

Doggy blitzes Near beyond comprehension here. Even with a minute prep time, Near doesn't have the significant equipments to injure/immobilize doggy boi. The dude maybe smart but without combat skills and the dog being relatively stronger than Near along with better LS and senses..... This seems like a stomp more or less as Near has no notable wincons.

So? There are plenty of cases where people in IRL have overpowered dogs despite the latter's superior speed. It's still possible for regular people to overpower K-9s and pitbulls, which have a speed higher than that of regular people. Not to mention that it should be noted that IRL people often lack combat experience, and yet, even an old man can overpower large dogs.

Main point? You (especially regular people) don't need too much combat experience to overpower a lab retriever, not to mention that labs also lack combat experience.
