Nobara Downgrade

Yeah I think so, but I'd prefer measuring the tree size in the feat rather than measuring a tree in a different scene/location in the forest and assuming the tree Nobara fell was the same size
you can see how inconsistent the tree sizes are in just this page lol

To be fair that is a really far shot. Tho usually if smth has an inconsistent size, you calc several different sizes and find the average. I do think that's better than like, using Nobara's nail as a point of reference. 'Specially cuz Momo herself is in the same shot where you used the nail to get the tree's diameter, and using her as a point of reference would change the size to be greater (And that's despite her being close to the screen).

Why isn't Nobara scaling to Eso and Keichizu? She literally is shown smacking and hurting Eso with her normal hammer. She bruises the back of his head. Easiest time getting some physicals from a character. Just downscale her in the same tier. Sure she does more damage with her CT, but she can hurt Eso that's enough to keep her in Yuji's tier come Death Painting arc.

I think her first key is fine and her third should be updated accounting for her being able to harm Eso normally and being stronger after landing a black flash. Also, I'd like to point out that Mahito clones strength isn't really related to their ability to access his touch ability. Mahito can choose to super enhance a clone while his weaker self maintains access to manipulating other souls with his ability so there's no reason to put his clone on the level of a normal transfigured human, especially with Nobara being stronger than the one that fought Eso.

So, just upscale Nobara in her third key.

First key changes looks fine though.

didn't I just explain why Momo can't be used as the point of reference

Oh btw, what is Nue's rating on the wiki? Momo takes a hit from it and is just fine, with only the Paralysis causing her issues. And Nobara was afraid of hurting her with a legit hammer. So I think if there's a rating for Nue we can use that for some scaling.

That was for another shot. I'm referring to this one:

Momo is closer to the screen than the tree. Thus it would be a low-ball of the tree's true thickness, and yet it'd still get better results than using the nails (Or at least I assume it would since her head should be around 20ish cm and the tree's a good bit thicker than her head is tall).

That has the exact same problem of Momo not being next to tree but even worse, there's no way to compare Momo to the tree here

Being in front of the tree means she appears bigger than she actually is. Thus the width of the tree is low balled. The wiki allows lowballs, and thus you can use that method. The thickness you would get would be greater than the 25cm you calculated, and that seems more accurate just from eyeballing it from like, 99% of the other shots.

No it would be very inaccurate due to the fact Momo isn't anywhere close to the tree, the current measurement would already work as the lowball

Inaccurately low, yeah. Which like, the wiki is fine with. If the tree were closer to the foreground than Momo, than yeah, you couldn't use that cuz it inflates the result. But Momo being a little closer to the screen than the tree means you low-ball the result. But I'll look more into it and see if I can get a better diameter.

No, not that it would be low. It's just inaccurate in general since you can't compare Momo to the tree

Why is there such hyper fixation on these trees and momo right now?

As far as I'm aware, the wiki has accepted calculations that do just that because the result is lower than if the person was standing right beside said object, meaning the result will be lower than it should be. Size-wise tho it would get much more realistic results than the nails. But I'll look for smth better.

That's a poor key alignment then. Nobara doesn't have any clear improvements between Good Will and Death Womb and the arcs are pretty close together, just roll those two keys together as the big difference between that Nobara and Shibuya is that she hit a black flash. Solves the issue of trying to find some feat for her

Isn't there the same problem of her being weaker than an 8-C Maki tho?

Also I wanna point out, Momo wasn't even knocked out by the toy hammer. She was just hit really hard

We don't have a rating for Nue, but it did survive this

Very much so, she's not even on the same level as Maki or Yuji yet going with 8-B physicals ignores of lot her physicals explicitly not scaling to the 8-C or 8-B guys
Do you think I'm good to apply the changes? I've got 2 agrees

Damn, Nobara is really going through the ringer. First, she gets calced to be subsonic, now she's getting her tier downgraded.

I don't enjoy being ignored on my point about Nobara harming Eso with her hammer showing that she in fact scales to the pair and Yuji physically but more importantly your point about Maki

Maki shouldn't be 8-C is what it is. Not only is Maki actually very capable physically, even being seen as capable of harming Todo as that was the original plan for dealing with him for the event, but also as seen by playful cloud, a tool which relies on the physical strength of it's user to harm others, she has the physical strength to harm special grade cursed spirits.

I wouldn't go that far. Yuji is very obviously still physically superior. Nobara simply has superior cursed energy control and output at the time. I'd like to see Nobara hurt Hanami as badly as Yuji did.

Wrong, the plan was to use Panda.

Playful Cloud is an amp, and doesn't scale to regular physicals

No one ignored it, it just simply doesn't hold up with she is currently established at being is what was pointed out after the fact, besides she barely bruised the dude after off guarding him with a direct blow to the head at that if anything you could argue its an outlier for her🤷‍♂️

This being the fact as well just seals it

I'm sorry but I don't buy miss "Give me drywall or I retire" being 8-B physically when its not consistent for her

She's a third grade sorcerer, she would scale to Grade 2 cursed spirits, she should be at least 9-A

When was this accepted wtf
