When Sonic created the large shockwave, it ended up effecting the entire Pacific Northwest. On the calculation, it didn't seem to account for the fact that it also reached a satelite. The lower ones are around 2000 km high, almost twice the distance of what got used in the calc. Would that not require more power than simply knocking out power along the Pacific Northwest? Or did I miss something in the post

Taking into account that it reached a sattelite? I only saw it account for the distance of the continent.

You'd have the ask the guy who calc'd it. I really don't expect the calc to change anytime soon though
