Pokémon: Other big stuff

I don't even see how someone could list everything it nulls
for example Arceus is still missing some abilities because there are just way too many

Well, let's start with the shorter list: What can be done while Eternamax is present?
The Pokemon can't use moves, & their abilities don't work, right? Can trainers use items?
What about abilities like Rough Skin or Iron Barbs, which are just products of relatively mundane shape & material physiology? Or Tackle, which is just moving? Presumably, the trainers can move, to send their Pokemon out, but not the Pokemon?

Zacian & Zamazenta can use moves, abilities & items during Eternamax, right? Which have we seen work while Eternamax is active?

No Moves can be used at all
All abilities that can activate don't activate its impossible to trigger the rest since Eternamax Eternatus doesn't attack at first but it likely nulls them as well
searching to see if I can find info on the others right now

Zacian and Zamezenta null Eternamax's aura so anything can use its moves and abilities

Literally no move can be used, as any attempt just says "Can't use any move because of a mysterious energy", and PPs aren't even consumed, meaning that they can't even move.

Abilities can be activated, the Ability nullification is not part of Eterantus' passive Move nullification. It's the Ability and Stat change nullification that all Dynamax Pokémon has and has to be actively used, and it doesn't prevent Abilities being reactivated once the nullification has been done either.

The nullification of abilities is also in its aura which stays there
Abilities don't activate before Zacian and Zamezenta appear even if they passively activate normally if your pokemon has drizzle its not going to activate even when it would normally

So, Eternamax Eternatus:
1. Passively disables Pokemon from using moves....
1-A. ....Unless the equipment-wielding formes of Zacian & Zamazenta are both present.
2. Does NOT passively prevent ability useage.
3. Has a shockwave it can create that negates abilities & cures Eternamax Eternatus of non-volatile Status Conditions?

Is that correct?
What happens if, say, Eternamax Eternatus uses a contact move on a Pokemon with an ability like Iron Barbs or Rough Skin?

We have no idea what happens in that case

In which case?

It is a bit weird, since in the case of Iron Barbs/Rough Skin, it's just hurting yourself by haphazardly touching metal spikes or very coarse, rough skin or scales; How the ability works is just a product of the shape & materials of the physiology, that are very mundane & in line with physics; There's nothing supernatural to supress there, not is there any indication Eternatus is like... flattening the pointy/sharp bits or something.

But on the other hand, it could be argued such things are just game mechanics, if they can happen at all? (Does Eternamax Eternatus have any contact moves? Can those abilities trigger in the battle?)

in the iron barbs/rough skin case
Even if it had contact moves it doesn't attack until its powernull is nulled

Tho a question, should we count Glastier/Ice Rider Calyrex's Absolute Zero as Passive? Because it's literally emitted from its hoovers, but I'm a bit unsure.

I've talked with @QuasiYuri off site and he agrees with it being passive a possible rating. I don't think there should be more stuff to discuss.

I think that only thing that remains to discuss is listing what would be added to Arceus' P&As due of the Gen 8 legendaries introducing new hax to the verse.

Everything should get added
Arceus should get better powernull he is missing Passive stuff like Mold breaker as well as now having Eternatus null and Legendary dog null
Arceus also gets better absolute zero that is passive
Madness manip type 2 from Galar Particles which he can obviously manipulate

Slightly irrelavent but all this talk about Iron Barbs/Rough Skin has me wondering, how do we treat Pokemon species that have multiple abilities? Do we assume they have all of them at once?

Ok, so, Arceus should get:
  • A Purification Description update to fit also Zacian, Zamazenta and Calyrex
  • Weapon Mastery
  • Natural Weaporny
  • An Absorption update to fit Zacian, Zamazenta, Eternatus, Calyrex and Spectier
  • Damage Boost description update
  • Power Nullification being now also passive Coz Eternamax and scales from also Zacian/Zamazenta
  • Air Manipulation, Illusion Creation and Sleep Manipulation coz Zacian/Zamazenta
  • Resistance to Petrification coz scaling from Zacian/Zamazenta
  • Type 2 Madness Manipulation because Eternatus
  • Martial Arts, Pressure Points and Forcefield Negation because Urshifu
  • Death Manipulation because Urshifu
  • Summoning being updated because Hoopa and Calyrex
  • Aura being updated because Lucario, Ice Rider Calyrex, etc
And I'd need someone who:
  • Can unlock Arceus, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf to make the Void Manip updates
  • Can protect for only autoconfirmed users the new profiles.

Next is having these profiles unlocked for the rest of this CRT:
I still agree (except with Quick Powder scaling). It seems like this CRT is largely uncontroversial to aply.

I've unlocked the profiles. Be sure to link this thread when making the changes, because I saw in the history for the profiles that have been updated had lacked the link to here.
