In this thread I'm going to pull parts from the entire series that centered Storm, Adversary and others. I'm also going to adress some of the context that was taken wrong in the last thread.
1. So Adversary, who went by Sefako at that time created powerful storm that took over Wakanda 1 2 It is shown in the scan above that this servant defeated Thanos and Namor. Also stated here 1 Adversary knew all alone what was happening in Wakanda, which is why he had his vessel/servant recruit more followers. 1 2 Adversary even knew Storm biggest weakness 1
2. Here Storm explain that the storm over wakanda is not natural and its not even from this world. Which means something but Storm has produced many weather effects not natural to Earth 1 Also in this scan it shows the first time, she was called Hadari Yao. The god that perserves the balance of all things natural.
3. When She showed up villagers stated calling her that too 1 Using the power of their faith in her 1 2 3 Giving her the power of faith and divinity. She stopped Adversary hold on wakanda with his storms.
4. Zawavari the seer of the elder gods over exerted trying to defeat the vanyan and could not stop Adversary power from letting the orginators return 1 2 3 He went on to suffer a stroke and claimed Orisha are dead (gods) 1 2 It confirms with this symbol that It's Sefako aka Adversary work 1
5. Adversary servant was defeating anyone with just sand 1 2 3 4 including Zawavari, who was out for a long time until he conjured a forcefield
6. Adversary servant was captured and told her story. She confirmed Sefako was him 1 2 3
7. Basically a summary of what has happened so far in this saga 1 It was confirmed that Adversary did all of this work and defeated the Wakanda Gods 1 2 Zawarvari confirmed he defeated the Orisha which consisted of Bast and Thoth.
8. 1 Also in same scan above Zawarvari was unimpressed about Adversary and threw his socerery chains around him. Adversary actually let Zawarari think he was oneshotted. Even N'Knao said while smiling "T'Challa did not tell us it would be this easy!" Storm goes on to tell his that no this is The adversary. After Adversary look them have their fun he hits them with a shock wave and the smirk on Zamwarvari face disappears 1
9. He knocked everyone under rocks including Storm to induce her fear. While that happened Shuri tried to distract Adversary on her own. Adversary mocks her because they both know she's not match. She went on to say I never fight alone 1 2 Black Panther went on to say they fought before and Adversary knows she is massive threat. Back then Storm mutants were not a threat to Adversary. He did acknowlege that Mystical Forge and untapped Storm boosted high spiritiual powers 1 in the mean time Shuri kept running from Adversary to buy time and proceeded to scatter in birds to break his concentration 1 2 3 Adversary had enough playing games and oneshotted her. She did goes on to say I never fight alone leaving the aircrafts to strike him with iron his weakness 1 2
10. 1 2 3 Stated that Storm is a bigger god and powerful enough to take on Adversary. He went on to say her godhead is passed from ancestors claim (Oshtur favored and gave her ancestors powers which is why Storm had a few sorcercer supreme back then)
11. Activated her god head and defeated the Adversary 1 2
12. In the handbook it is stated that Storm Hadari Yao mode absorbs and transform faith into truly god like power which she can crush evil and dispense salvation with equal force. 1
1 2 Storm became a new god of Wakanda. Stated again in the handbook She uses love, adoration, worrship, hopes and more to amplify her powers to defeat the Adversary.
13. Also in X-men Lifeseed nate grey/Legion mind controlled her. When she was free some of her god head came out to where she harmed them enough the telepaths were able to each their minds to divide them. 1 2 3 4
Matthew Rosenberg the writter confirmed for himself she did 1 He did went on to correct someone's tweet about Storm being called a goddess back before she was an X-men. Rosenberg tweet "Not up on current Black Panther, are ya?" 1
So basically my point is Storm > Adversary and with a blast harmed lifeseed nate/full powered Legion
