Question about acausality

How exactly does acausality work?

I’m specifically thinking about type 4 atm, but explanations for other types would be nice.

Basically, i’m thinking about how a character with type 4 acausality exists in different laws of cause and effect. Doesn’t that mean that they literally can’t be affected by a character who’s not in those laws of cause and effect, and vice versa? The way i’m seeing it right now makes it seem as if they literally can’t interact with each other.

If someone could clear up my misunderstanding, it’d be greatly appreciated.

I’m 95% sure it varies on a case-by-case basis.
For example, monsters from Goosebumps run on a form of ‘Monster Time’, in place of normal time, giving them Type 4. However, they can still be interacted with by normal characters.
However, other characters could have Type 4 Acasuality that means their ‘Cause and Effect’ is so warped that normal Cause and Effect doesn’t apply.

Ok, thank you. This clears up a lot.
