You know, Mind Manipulation is such a cheap, boring and annoying hax that it's probably one of my least favourite abilities in fiction. You can make it as strong as you want, and be as weak as hell, like:
"Hey, I wanna fight you, let's start with..."
"Nope, my mind hax kills you, it's passive, and you can't resist it because it works on High 1-Bs! Duh?! You are dead, F*uck you, f*ck me, f*uck this battle, f*ck the debaters, f*ck everyone in existence, because this right here is a...

Please, don't take the "f*ck" part as offensive.
