Shinji's Bankai is useful mainly against many opponents so might not be very useful against one opponent like Shunsui

As soon as Kyoraku goes bankai , it's pretty much over.
as Spooky said , Shinji's bankai is pretty much useless in 1v1 and his shikai isn't potent enough to beat kyoraku .
i vote Kyoraku .

Honestly Shinji could solo Gotei 13 because of his Bankai, but yeah.

1 vs 12 , yeah , he could make them kill each other while he /popcorn and laugh .

Kyoraku have his games tho and an actual bankai to use in this 1v1.

nah probably not but i don't really see shinji being able to kill Kyoraku before he will feel pressured to use it , the gap isn't that high even with shinji's shikai giving him a slight edge overall( compared to kyoraku's shadow game for example who could also end the fight quickly)
imo , Kyoraku and shinji in shikai are somewhat equal , i believe kyoraku to be more powerfull but shinji have a slightly better shikai
