While I do not believe he would use as many bullets as that against a singular enemies, if he could catch her off guard in a blind spot, then Shizo does possesses a wincon. But with her shield, axesmanship, and combat skill that allows her to hold her own against a Gen utilizing countless RT-0001 that allows him to utilizes homing, or rather, inescapable attacks, she could survive the initial onslaught and realize that Shinzo is no joke despite his shy behavior and takes the fight seriously
That’s pretty fair. Sure
Hmmm… Ricocheting would probably work in a similar manner to homing imo. But at that she can turn to Future Sight and there will be nothing Shinzo can do to surprise her from that point on. She may have seconds, maybe a minute before her brain get cooked if she abuses it, but can Shinzo last that long given how much Evolved RT-0001 is packing, especially when Kikoru can see the success rate of her own attacks and perceive Shinzo’s defeat
But without the RT-0001, the more she perceive his ricocheting marksmanship, the more better she will become at predicting them within time.
Makes sense. Literal Future Sight won’t come into play unless Kikoru thinks she has a 100% chance of winning the instant she uses it. Shinzo very likely gets overwhelmed against the evolved RT-0001.
While Kikoru could get better with predicting his shots as the battle goes on. So long as she doesn’t have the RT-0001 isn’t active, Shinzo could very easily switch it up with Melee combat where he could change the kinds of weapons he’s using and combat styles on a whim every couple seconds (cause this is the guy who taught Taiyo how to sword fight even though he prefers to use Maces). Then when Kikoru thinks he won’t go back to firearms sneaking in handgun shots or ukon canon shots.
This is quite a lot for Kikoru to keep track with at any time. So long as Destroy’s active but before RT-0001. Aka the middle of the fight Shinzo will likely be able to lay on the pressure thanks to Destroy’s analysis. (cause Shinzo’s obviously gonna see Kikoru as a dangerous opponent, and when she goes up to 60% he’ll tell how much harder she’s hitting when he’s shielding with Ukon or sense a rise in her strength)
Originally, Kikoru holds off from using it, only because she wanted to keep it as a surprise weapon against Kaiju No. 9 so he doesn’t come up with a counter. Without that set-back, the possibility of both are the same, but as skilled she is with it, given how she is not as experienced as War Arc Gen, I would defer to her following a similar manner to Gen before the war, where he would wait until he warmed up or experiencing difficulties before whipping out the eyes. And unlike the War Arc, she is not under much strain from using another Numbers Weapons, and Shinzo doesn’t have hundreds of decoys hearts that she need to sort through, so she is lasting much longer.
But yeah, unless one is literally faster than their own body’s electrical signals, their entire nervous system, then Basic RT-0001 is GG unless they have insane defenses to outlast. There is a reason why it known for its inescapable attacks.
Overall, the fight seems to be if Shinzo can take down Kikoru before activates RT-0001.
I see, in that case Shinzo basically needs to try crushing her with destroy and very quickly. The earlier into the fight the better. Shinzo never started in Blooming though (besides the Asa fight cause obviously) so Shinzo needs to pick up on her being unusually dangerous when she’s able to actually block his Ukon blows.
Shinzo could try using his lifting strength edge at the start to instantly pin her if she tries blocking with her axe (like when Shinzo almost crushed Taiyo with his Ukon in chapter 92) and while hurt, Kikoru would have the dura to survive then raise her Percentage to 60% to get him off.
Lucky Blindspot shots with knockout bullets could work, but not foolproof, more likely to be successful if Shinzo shot then rushed into Melee to make it harder for Kikoru to evade. But Kikoru will full shield once she realizes Shinzo can hit from the blind spots or pretty much any area on her body. Even if she doesn’t know the bullets can knock her out. Since better be safe than sorry.
A more unorthodox strategy would be trying to shatter the gas mask she currently has on her face so that she’s left vulnerable against the gas based poison optional equipment he’d have in his arsenal here. Which he could use at any time. I would bring up stuff like the muscle relaxant knives or paralysis needles but shield means they’re gonna be unlikely to work unless Shinzo can tell he’s broken through AND has an opening. So yeah.
Kikoru should win 100% of the time if it gets to the point she switches RT-0001
Or if the battle takes an extremely long time without it being activated due to Kikoru’s ramping stats. Shinzo’s got the stamina for multi hour long battles but it’s not to his benefit here. I will say Shinzo’s regeneration will help him a lot if Kikoru only gets a shallow slash in or doesn’t take off his head. Since Shinzo can recover from damage + has good stamina while Kikoru only has her stamina. But Kikoru is used to fighting Low Mids and High Mid’s the latter under more extreme circumstances (Although at 57% I’m pretty sure she never had put up a fight against a Daikaiju yet)
I’d say Kikoru’s win cons benefit more from longer battles becoming more effective as the battle progresses, while Shinzo needs to be aggressive and very proactive to win here. Not letting the fight be longer than it should.
