so the argument floating about was how sento is talking about parallel universes. in the very screenshot that was given, also the sentence that sento was saying (which also happened to be the only supporting argument for 2-a in that thread), it says countless rather than infinite. checking some other sources than google translate, it all says countless/innumerable/numberless rather than infinite as well

looking for some other sentences examples, there's no usage of the word that meant the word infinite in a literal sense

the 2-a rating for both tsukasa and old sougo should be removed as there aren't any actuall usage of the word infinite anywhere in that particular scene. it's should be 2-b, which is already in the page so it can stay

Rule of thumb in japanese is that each word is used for something. Mugen (þäíÚÖÉ) is what is used for infinite. Besides, most japanese words and their meaning depends heavily on context

one of your link is the exact same as mine. your first link even have some sentences example with none of them having the word musuu to mean infinite, merely countless or innumerable, which actually further support my arguments. most of the kanji's meaning are also countless or a derivation of it

do keep in mind that a kanji may be used to write one or more different words and/or very commonly to have at least 2 meanings. deciding which reading is appropriate is determined from a particular context, intended meaning, whether the character occurs as part of a compound word or an independent word, and sometimes location within the sentence.

just because one of the many meaning of þäíµò░ is infinite number, that doesn't mean you can nitpick what it actually mean. especially when all sentences example using þäíµò░ never really have the word "infinite" used in a literal way in their context

what you're doing right now is pretty much the same thing as the error in "star level boros" argument

made the adjustment. though i kept the 2-c rating for now as i'm somewhat unsure of completely removing them. i'm thinking of simply changing it from "likely 2-c, possibly 2-b" to something like "at least 2-c, likely 2-b" as an alternative
