Again, I feel strategy and tactics aren't being considered by many here. Old Joseph knows all of Young Jospeh's tricks, and likely knows how to counter them. The AP difference isn't massive enough for Young Jo to just bank off of it.

This was the same problem in part 4 why didnt Joseph use Hermit Purple to find Kira. Btw vote for old Joseph FRA

Explained. He lacked decent control with hermit purple. He even failed on having hp outright picture josuke for him.

He only was going use hp and extend hp through all of morioh and cables and wires of morioh for Akira not a picture meaning range on hp would be over 100km.
 
Also, just wanted to clear the air, Old Jo is not "dumber" than Young Jo. Sure, he's got more goofy moments, but he's entirely capable of pulling tricks like his old self (Fight with Empress, nearly trapping DIO by infusing his body with hamon) and should by logic be more wise.

That is, unless we're talking Part 4. :p
 
In all fairness, some early votes did rely on the fact that Old Joseph was physically stronger, but if I'm not mistaken many of those people shifted to the argument that Old Jo outmaneuvers, knows all attacks and tricks, etc.
 
I don't see how all of Old Joseph's votes are debunked. Plenty of valid talk happened both before and after the debates.

Don't just say "all votes for the guy I didn't vote for are debunked". Let those who voted for him either change their minds or stick by their statements. It is entirely possible for both sides to have a point and discuss it, don't invalidate the opinions of others.
 
The pages might actually need to be split between Old and Young Joseph, unless there is some way to word this correctly on the conventional Victory/Loss/Incon listings.
 
You're inclined to disagree, but more voters currently agree that Old Joseph would win by virtue of knowing all of his young self's attacks and Hermit Purple, with the physical gap not being high enough to allow Young Joseph to just win off of that.

And most old posters.have been debunked earlier in the thread.

In what way? The stronger part is out but the reasons are that Old would outwit and know what to do against young joseph not to mention hermit purple is helpful. I fail to see how you debunked anything

Alright, I'll actually go through all of the votes, and look for this mythic "debunking"

Votes:

  • Knowing what Young Joseph would do: Reinhardthrowhisspear, Paulo.junior.969, Rakanadyo all explain their reasons separately (Which I reaffirmed in my own vote, have yet to see a counterargument to that)
  • RapidMotorcycle19 begins dissent. He debates with TheJ-ManRequiem, and eventually makes a numbered list of arguments, which he and Megaboy Prime refer to when claiming "old votes have been debunked". The thing is, the debate continues, with both sides making valid points. It's just that Rapid and Mega start dismissing new votes claiming all the facts being presented against them have been "debunked" when clearly there is still room for debate.
  • I reaffirm the fact that Old Joseph knows all of Young Joseph's tricks, which seemed to have been ignored for like half of the thread, and others
Hopefully I'm saving some poor sysop some work if this thread is reported.
