Can Dodging an Rainbow be an FTL feat, in the game there is an weapon that shoots out Rainbows and you can dodge it easily so that is an FTL feat or nah?

The Terrarian can't dodge the beam under normal circumstances.

However, the Black Belt let them dodge any attacks, including the beam, with a 10% chance. So this could be reaction/combat speed only at best.

I actually managed to dodge it by flying up before it could hit me while pvping with my friends.

No. The beam itself is instant as seen in-game. You can only aim-dodge it but not dodge the actual beam itself.

Wrong weapon it seems. But dodging a rainbow isn't FTL, it's just magic.

Because i didn't have an black belt and it didn't hit me, so since it's instant it's probably lag.

Probably more relevant to Terrarian possibly being FTL is the Last Prism, which I assume can also be dodged with 1/10 chance via Black Belt. The Last Prism's page on the official wiki and Terraria's page here both describe it as firing beams of light.

Considering the fact that the Last Prism is based on refracting light, it most definitively based on light.

Bleh. Depends if we treat the Black Belt as actual dodging or just a type of hax.

I'm more on the opinion of the former, but we would need more people on that.

Black belt is hax, it can even dodge the damage of falling in a pool of lava
