The Auditor VS "John EB" (???)

  • The Auditor has The Halo
  • Both have prior knowledge on each other
  • Battle takes place in an open field
  • The Auditor and John are 7 meters from each other

The Auditor:
  • Survivability
  • Skill (probably, safe to assume anyways)
  • Durability negation
"John":
  • AP+Durability
  • Hax

Both have prior knowledge about each other.
Player knows about the auditors dura neg so he'll end the fight as quickly as possible.
What better way to do that than to nuke em?

There are several cursor attacks like Empyrean Rain which is pretty much instant and nigh-unavoidable.
That could work. now it's just can they get that off before Auditor hits em with the ol' Dissonace + Immortality Neg.
Allso how is ole buddy interacting with him? Does he have layered NPI?
Hank's electricity gives him layered NPI, pretty sure because he touched the halo. When he doesn't have his intangibility activated, The Auditor is completely tangible for the most part.

The dissonance looks to be just energy bolts / your standard projectile. Easily deflected. John EBG would know this.
Hell, since John EBG has prior knowledge about Auditor, John EBG would know that Auditor would just be rootin tootin guns and s***. A Gravital Globe would cover most expenses or virtually any shielding spell. John EBG would also know that Auditor hasn't dealt with invisible folks before so this would work.

The Auditor (if he really thinks about doing it) could stop this by stunning EGB by doing this. If he doesn't think about doing it, The Auditor just takes the dissonance cuz he resists it and would regenerate.

Dissonance does explode on contact, so i don't know if he could reflect it without it blowing up, but i'm not sure how that works for stuff like this.

Funnily enough The Auditor is more trigger happy with his hax besides jesus.

Gravity globe is fair.

if they go invisible, The Auditor would 100% immediately become intangible.

Inertia makes him immune to stuns. Player would pop this early before hand and prob waltz through it.

Plenty of spells in the game explode on contact and yet they still get deflected as seen in the gravital globe example with the guy shot projectiles at it. It's supposed to explode on contact but it just.. gets deflected.

Fair.

So what I'm basically seeing is that Player would just gravital globe, run, rinse and repeat.

Also... T i m e S t o p.

the stun comes from 5D Conceptual Manipulation.

fair nough.
The Auditor can either go underground, become intangible, or simply teleport out of range if he sees it coming, considering it's a giant grandfather clock falling out of the sky.

Really? I don't see it on the profile sooo I'll just assume that it's just a regular stun that player knows about.

But since player knows that the intangibility is only activated and can get caught off guard, safe to assume that player can just pop a grav globe and deflect everything Auditor throws at him and just one shot with Empyrean Rain which is pretty much instant. Or just Virtual Zone GGs (in which if it kills someone, it'll leave their body there so no coming back, they're also paralyzed while in it soo yeah). Either will pron splatter him so I'll go for John EBG.

Look on his true form key. Conceptual Manipulation is right there, not only that but it's accepted he did it to The Machine, something that's at the very least superior to him which is 5 dimensional. (In a later date it's going to be upgraded to 1-A, but thats for another time) No resistance to conceptual manipulation means no resisting shit when he uses it. Read the profile.

If he drops a grav globe, what stops Auditor from using his telekinesis to pull them out and hit them with dissonance?

If they don't start with grav globe, they die because dissonance erases them.

If they start with Virtual Zone and he gets dragged in, yes he would be able to return because Jogn EGB does not have the range to get out of his true form's range (Low 1-C)

Empyrean Rain is basically their only best bet because it's the only thing that The Auditor doesn't have an immediate counter to, and even then it has a (very short) start up which The Auditor could try and hit them with literally anything.

Thats in the true form / personal hell key. That's not the right key. This is halo key.
The Auditor has The Halo

It not being on the profile.

Neither does Auditor in this key.

That startup is very fast so it's unlikely that Auditor can get out much of anything before being splattered.

"An exception would be if the restricted ability/technique has a separate tier from the main one, and is one the character can consciously restrict themselves from using."

The Auditor can't consciously restrict himself from being himself. He has access to his true form. They're just not within the realm itself/fighting it directly.
It not being on the profile.
Huh. would you look at that. should've scaled to other Halo users who do that.
Neither does Auditor in this key.
Explained this above already.

If he sends out dissonance, at worst it becomes an incon since the dissonance lands and immediately kills them.
