The Fell Omen vs The Judge of Hell (0-0-3)

Are you talking about Malagor the Dark Omen, the Niche beastman character?

So I mentioned this to Jerry, but one of the major win-conditions for Morgott is currently missing from his profile, so I'm unsure how to due this matchup. Morgott along with the other demigods have type 1 and 5 immortality due to the removal of the rune of death in the Elden Ring. Thus, I don't see any way Gabriel could kill him normally. Morgott also possibly has type 2 immortality based on him having his cursed blood drawn out of his body and into who sword, as well as the fact he can survive until near the end of the game even after he is defeated.

Going off what is listed in the profiles however, things get a bit trickier. The two are fairly evenly matched, with neither having any prominent stat or ability that could beat the other. The only things I see for Gabriel is his higher LS and he can teleport. For now, I'll abstain until someone can maybe give a better argument for either character.

TBF, type 5 is countered by little or no regen.

Doesn't matter if you can't die if your neck is snapped and all of your limbs are pretzels

Fair. He might actually have some super low regen, since omen children have their horns repeatedly cut off while they regrow readily (so like Mid-low to High-low regen), and as I mentioned he does have feats for type two immortality and functioning without his bloods in his body.

Outside of that though, it also says on Gabriel's profile that he only lives for like 24hrs, so technically if he dies before Morgott does (even if Morgott is incapacitated for the time being) then wouldn't Morgott win?

I completely forgot about that damn- Lemme switch to the version of Gabe that hasn’t had his light ripped out yet, so he actually has a wincon.

I mean, Gabe is also 1.54x stronger and more versatile, since he can summon and use light-based weapons while fighting on his own at the same time. That said, Gabriel doesn’t really go for grabs or similar stuff, so LS only really matters when they’re clashing swords or something like that.

If they are both equal in AP, how is Gabriel 1.54x stronger?

Apologies, my dumbass missed that lmao. I saw 7-C and thought you were limiting Morgott to Gabriel's level, not using the Margit key.
mf completely missed the "Margit key is used" part right after the both 7-C line, the unmatched reading comprehension /j

Bump

I thought you just equaled their stats to Gaberiel's 7-C 😭
So you’re confirming ya have reverse enhanced senses, actually worse at noticing things than average, extremely unskilled. Massive L for Chritin.

Anyway back to the match. Morgott (though it is actually Margit here) can survive being turned into a dried corpse or whatever meaning he'll take a lot of punishment despite the stat gap, as well as having the same ability to create and throw rain of light weapons, and is also more acrobatic. However Gabriel is more mobile, can easily tag Margit since he can do so against an opponent that's way more agile than the Omen, attacks more relentlessly, and is a bit more versatile (will also note that Gabe doesn't actually teleport in fights, they are just dashes and are blitzing no one)

I'm kind of leaning on Inconclusive here for the moment due to what Jerry said above, alongside some other factors such as Gabriel's arrogance (contrasted with Margit's typical tactic of testing his opponent, but not to the extent where he's screwed over) and Margit's absurd 40% resistance to Holy (yes, I know Gabriel is using light attacks, but it comes from a blessing from God, so I think the verse equalization is fair).

Don’t think this thread is going to get more attention anytime soon so- should I add this as a vote or still count it as just leaning?
