The problem with the 7-B rating of Warhammer Fantasy Characters

Currently, a large portion of Warhammer Fantasy characters scale to 7-B through scaling to Bloodthirsters who can generate storms with their wingbeats.

However the current 7-B rating is based on a misunderstanding of the common calculation of storms that use the CAPE method. The storms calculated using this method should only scale to environmental destruction, and not KE. This conflicts with Bloodthirsters physically being able to move clouds with their wingbeats, which in contrast, absolutely should scale to AP, Striking Strength, and Durability.

My proposed solution:

While I did calculate the feat, it has yet to be approved. So instead, I propose that all 7-Bs in Warhammer Fantasy be upgraded to 7-A (Mountain level) in the meantime, by scaling to the correct calculation for KE storms.

Edit:

Alright so the low-end of 510 gigatons has been accepted for my calculation of Bloodthirsters generating storms, if this CRT goes through, all 7-B characters will be upgraded to High 6-C.

Did your calculated result differ significantly from the standard feat? If so, it seems better for me to ask a few calc group members to take a look.

Can you link here to the calculation blog please?

The commonly accepted 7-A calc is the lowball for Bloodthirsters generating a storm.

My blog puts it much higher, at about 6-B (Same as Lugia's). The 7-A upgrade is more of a temporary remedy since it is technically is the correct one over the CAPE method that the 7-B characters were erroneously scaled to.

So this would also imply that powerful magic users scale to this feat as they can content with Bloodthirsters. This would mean that Nagash would get a 'High 6-C with magic' added to his first key and Balthasar Gelt would get a 'possibly High 6-C' added to his first key too
