The Witcher: Regen Downgrade.

This is going to be quick, currently Geralt is at Low-Mid Regen with the reasoning being:

• Regeneration (Low-Mid - can regenerate a big hole in his neck in a few months. healed from getting brutally bitten in the neck by Dettlaff. Eskel explains that witcher's wounds heal much faster than normal humans')

That's not Low-Mid Regen. Low-Mid Regen is "The ability to regenerate lost limbs, limited brain damage, and even severe organ damage or destruction, including traditionally fatal wounds and disembowelment or horizontal bisection. For machines and vehicles, this would be regenerating minor parts and more extensive internal damage". The two main examples are Mid-Low which is "The ability to heal wounds that would normally leave large scars, such as severe burns or deep injuries. For machines and vehicles, this would be regenerating damage that would normally leave large dents and openings."

Given the evidence, I think Geralt should be downgraded from Low-Mid to Mid-Low unless there are other, better examples.

To play devil's advocate, the Low-Mid regen has the following:

even severe organ damage or destruction, including traditionally fatal wounds

The first scan does that it could be a fatal wound

You shouldn't have allowed yourself to get wounded, but you did, and very seriously at that. Fatally even.

But ignoring that aspect, it would be more Mid-Low I guess.

To play devil's advocate, the Low-Mid regen has the following:

The first scan does that it could be a fatal wound

The scan is leaving out the part where he received immediate medical attention for those wounds and needed to rest for two days.

I disagree. An impalement through the neck is quite fatal; relatively close to losing your head. And even so, most people would be dead via choking with a wound like that. Also, the neck literally is quite vital and more complex than other body parts. It has so much compressed blood compared to other body parts. I think the neck biting would be High-Low territory.

While the scans give a more reasonable detail, and would be more healing as opposed to regeneration. But still, the initial would normally kills people instantly. And as said earlier, I think High-Low is a more reasonable proposal as opposed to Mid-Low
