They are from famous families known for their inventions founded by two people (Afton Robotics and Blight Industries by William and Henry, and Odalia and Alador Blight) they also come from families made up of awful parents and three children. They both use monsters in battles (The Twisted Ones or The Phantoms and The Abominations).
They are mostly associated with the colors green and purple and both were defeated by children at some point.
Both also wear many different outfits that reflect important developments in their characters/series (Springtrap’s different suits; Glitchtrap for his first murders, Scraptrap for his demise, etc. and Amity changing her hair color, green for her parents control over her life and purple for her independence) but are mainly known for one uniform (the Springtrap suit and Amity’s school uniform with green and brown hair).
and both have gold colored enemies (Golden Freddy and The Golden Guard).(this last one is kinda outdated because hunter is a good guy now lol)
