Tomura Shigaraki Vs Regulus Corneas (My Hero Academia Vs Re: Zero) [13-2-0]

Explain why Regulus would ever do that when he realizes his wives are in the immediate vicinity.
Regulus kills his wives all the time. The entire reason they are paralyzed to do anything even when he's not around is because they don't know what will get them killed at the drop of a hat. He doesn't give a **** as long as he's not killing all of them 😭

Im surprised no one tried to say the last Regulus heart is in Shigaraki as a win con for some reason lol

There was no pressure to vote. Castorice and Catbowtoe were still debating. It's just the fra train road there
Even then, I was arguing about how Regulus can travel at ftl, Regulus can fly, Regulus can tag Reinhard 4 times, Danger sense and search not working on Regulus, and that Shigaraki doesn't have rela + travel speed.

Yea no there was no new information presented by Re;Zero supporters. Shigaraki still blitzes Regulus. Regulus can still lose track of Shigaraki in an urban environment. Carpet Bombing would only work if Regulus knows where Shigaraki is headed (which at Mach 10 speed, Shigaraki will leave Regulus in the dust). Mid Regeneration makes Shigaraki hard to kill without extreme danmaku, which Regulus will not be getting off considering Shigaraki is blitzing him.

Yea, Regulus getting cooked seven ways till Sunday.

You don’t need to. Both are pretty much the same thing.

It’s dura negging the **** out of Shigaraki or sending him to space

Anyways, Im going to talk about the fight.

Shigaraki blitzes Regulus so hard it’s not even funny. By the time Regulus perceives a second, the following things will have happened:
  1. Shigaraki immediately decays the surrounding area, fails to decay Regulus, he wonders why, and knocks Regulus around before realizing he doesn’t take any damage. Tries to see if he can take Regulus’ quirk and fails, then connects the dots of the connection to Regulus and his wives.
  2. Punches Regulus so hard it causes a chasm. Leaves him there
  3. Starts heading in the direction of his wives to kill them.
Only way Regulus would be able to catch up is to use his Authority, and even then Regulus can only go in a straight line. Not to mention that the floor underneath Regulus is gone so he would need to fly. I think Shigaraki leads Regulus on a wild goose chase before killing the last of his wives and then Decaying Regulus
nothing new of substance has been brought up since this. 4 pages of arguing the same thing.

Why do people even live in Re;Zero when shi like that happen on a daily basis?
They're lucky that they live in the modern era, there are only like 3 people with a kill-count above 10k. 400 years ago, there were easily over 10 with kill-counts higher than that.

Sonic would handle them

Never thought I'd see the day that raiden ei would be a shigaraki victim using the logic shigaraki > regulus > raiden ei, I thought this was ragebait back then 😭 Genshin is so cooked

If we bloodlust Deku, Regulus honestly is a victim to him too.
I hope you realize Deku wasn’t considered for this matchup because he legit has no win cons. He has no way to bypass his authority. He has no way to stop his wives heart and he would not kill his wives at all.

Bloodlust refers to a state where a character is fighting without any inhibitions, and cares about nothing other than defeating the enemy.

Bloodlusted characters fear nothing, and won't hesitate taking injures if it leads to a higher probability of winning a battle.

A bloodlusted character will not be victim to Character-Induced Stupidity, and will be much more likely to speed blitz opponents (if doing so is within their powerset).
Bloodlusted Deku is turning Regulus’ wives’ head to paste

Yeah, it's a real thing that he said while talking with Spinner;
which-champion-would-shigaraki-play-in-lol-v0-w7ryt75bb0id1.jpeg
Shigaraki feels like someone who'd play Yone, Yas, or like Karthus, Fiddlesticks, maybe Morde. Definitely Mid main Top secondary.

I guess I should apologize because upon reexamining some of the pertinent scenes it seems that... it's just really poorly written. Reinhard just kinda stands there and lets Regulus trap him. This is probably the worst possible outcome because it makes Reinhard look like an oaf and it means I am wrong. But I will concede that Regulus' actual reaction speeds are unclear. I just assumed that Reinhard was actually trying to not get injured or killed. He did say he would but I guess that was a lie. Sorry for pressing the issue.

Tappei has no way to really properly convey Reinhard not just curbstomping someone but also needs to make Regulus look like the menacing threat he is so it requires a lot of forced plot stuff to happen. Plus, Subaru doing literally anything in that battle doesn't technically make any sense but the narrative doesn't care.
