Two Civ's fight Composite Civilization vs United Nations of Earth (Two More)

I stand by my opinion: UNE parks the fleet in orbit, GG. Composites have only once shown ability to harm orbital targets using planetside weaponry (unless Alpha Centauri has something more to say here), and it is definietely not enough to harm late game Stellaris. Space fleet doesn't even compare, and as far as I am aware, composite mindhax is neither potent, nor long ranged enough to destroy a fleet of battleships or a colossus that stays on higher orbit. Problem with this matchup is that Stellaris and Civilization are two very different settings. Civ focuses on ground combat and gameplay, with actual space combat showing up once in the series, where it is nowhere near Stellaris. Stellaris on the other hand is a galactic strategy, with accordingly scaled numbers and sizes. Although no precise numbers are ever given, it would be possible to get into Stellaris, take some approperiate screenshots and see just how large UNE warships are by comparing their models to in game Earth or Mars. And I can already tell you, the difference in size is not large. In short, UNE wins because composites do not really have any answer to nuclear warheads raining out of high orbit.
 
I feel like Szepto actually makes a good point here.
