Warrior of Light should be ranked higher.

If we're gonna look at all of the Warrior of Light's feats, Gilgamesh is hardly the toughest guy he's faced.

How is Gilgamesh comparing to fighting evenly with Sephiroth, or defeated Chaos with a single attack in his strongest form? (Which happened in "Final Fantasy: Memory of Heroes".)

Furthermore, Chaos being the same Chaos from FF1, was defeated by him.

The same Chaos who killed every single Warrior on both Cosmos' and Chaos' sides, and judging from Cloud's death in 012, did so effortlessly.

I really think this wiki underestimates how powerful FF characters are, with Feral Chaos quite possibly being the most powerful character in all of FF, above even the likes of Bhunivelze or other powerful deities.

Gilgamesh and Sephiroth have never fought.

The novelization isn't canon, or at the very least the game takes precedence, and it doesn't show this.

Chaos from Dissidia is not the Chaos from the first Final Fantasy, and he is definitely, definitely not the most powerful character in the series.

There's no reason to assume it isn't canon when every single appearance since Dissidia has made it clear that the Warrior of Light was the original Fighter from FF1, in Brave Exvius and Record Keeper they both say that he is the original.

There's no proof that it is canon, HOWEVER, there's no proof that it isn't either, it's the only novelization of FF1 in existence and its the only direct story we get, so there's no reason to throw it to the side. I don't think it's fair to be a skeptic when there's no reason to be, not saying you're being one, just saying it's important to not just ignore stuff because stuff like that didn't happen in the game as opposed to the book.

If Chaos can effortlessly kill every single major character without even being Feral (barring Cosmos), and can stand against Shinryu, then how he is not the most powerful?

Even if the characters in Dissidia appear under-powered, it's clear they aren't a complete shell of their former shell, and Chaos' power goes beyond normal fighting, he can kill any one of the Warrior's without even standing up and proves it several times through-out the story.

There's also no reason to believe that the Chaos from Dissidia isn't the Chaos from FF1, because there is a conversation where Garland and Chaos talk, Garland reveals that he is Chaos.

If you want me to flat-out prove that Feral Chaos has killed beings like Ultimecia, Cloud of Darkness, or others, I can, it's stated several times through-out the storyline of Scenario 000, and considering Chaos was able to stand toe-to-toe with Shinryu Verus, (SPOILERS AHEAD FOR DISSIDIA NT!!!!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!), and it took the entire cast of Dissidia NT, Gods included, to take down Shinryu, these characters not just limited to Lightning (from Lightning Returns, nonetheless), Ultimecia, Sephiroth, Kefka, both gods, EVERYONE, to weaken him and he still didn't lose yet, he had to be killed in a seperate fight after being severely weakened by everyone.

Feral Chaos, however, succeeded in killing literally everyone, including Cosmos and every character in the game, out of sheer boredom, he wasn't even taking it seriously.

"There's no proof that it isn't" is not an argument. The game is the primary canon.

Because crossover scaling does not work and the heroes at that point don't even scale to the gods like Bhunivelze.

Crossover scaling.

That was retconned in the reports in 012. Dissidia Chaos is a manikin built by Cid of the Lufaine.

The events of FF1 take place post-Dissidia, according to the Warrior of Light in NT, and everyone in the Dissidia series as of NT remember pretty much everything from their world.

Lightning in NT IS the Lightning who killed Bhunivelze as shes in her "Lightning Returns" incarnation, and we based on evidence NT takes place after the game's character's stories.

According to NT, Shinryu from Dissidia is a "destroyer of dimensions".
I wanna expand on this.

First of all, Chaos in Dissidia is said to have destroyed the balance of all things, and threatened the fabric of reality itself:

Prologue - Final Fantasy Dissidia (US Version)
Prologue - Final Fantasy Dissidia (US Version)

There is tons more quotes where Chaos is stated to be a threat to all existence. "But they could be talking about his Warriors!" That wouldn't make sense, as he is able to effortlessly kill his own Warriors with a single handwave:

HD Dissidia 012 Duodecim Cutscene - Chaos killed Cloud, Cloud last wish
HD Dissidia 012 Duodecim Cutscene - Chaos killed Cloud, Cloud last wish

"But there's no reason to believe these Warriors are on the same level as their main game counterpart." This is true, though it's heavily implied due to the ending of Dissidia NT, in which we see Spiritus and Materia creating husks of the actual heroes, while the originals return to their world:

Dissidia Final Fantasy NT - Ending & Secret Ending 1080p 60FPS HD Dissidia 2?
Dissidia Final Fantasy NT - Ending & Secret Ending 1080p 60FPS HD Dissidia 2?

Lastly, the thing that seals the deal? FF1 and FF13 Lightning Returns both take place before NT:

Snow, Lightning, & Squall Story Cutscene - Dissidia Final Fantasy NT (DFFAC DFFNT)
Snow, Lightning, & Squall Story Cutscene - Dissidia Final Fantasy NT (DFFAC DFFNT)

Final Fantasy Dissidia NT - WoL, Cecil and Noctis adventure
Final Fantasy Dissidia NT - WoL, Cecil and Noctis adventure

It's a pretty direct reference to FF1.

Finally, as for the destroyer of dimensions quote, you can find it in the above video, shortly before the WoL's statement about FF1.

There's more but I'm fairly tired, so I'll get more quotes in a bit.
