Let's look at his statement first:

According to a translation I got here:

Cell says: Fuhahaha, how is it!! I've already stored enough Ki to blast, forget the Earth, but the entire solar system!!!

However we have a calc of Cell only destroying everything up to Earth?! He said 'すべて' which means entire! This at a high ball could mean everything up to the Ort Cloud if not the Kuiper Belt or Neptune which should yield 4-B+ considering Sephiroth's calc.

Make your arguments below:

I mean doesn't just destroying the sun from Earth would be enough to destroy the solar system?

Even if you do mean the entire solar system, I would at most say that it should be extended to Neptune's orbit at most, thogh I think reaching the sun is enough

ISL already makes note that destroying the sun from an AU away would logically extend beyond the edge of the solar system, but it's the OP's Megafoe claims or 4-B+ where he seems way too assumptive.

The Oort Cloud has a maximum distance of 200,000 AU.
4*(5.693x10^41)*((2.99195741x10^16)/(6.957x10^8))^2 = 4.21180235e57 joules (4-B+).

However, in order for any of this to be applicable, Cell would have to be firing off his Solar Kamehameha from within the Oort Cloud... which he isn't.
This is 4-A tho, 4-A starts at 2.517e56 joules

Don’t we already have Cell scaling to Solar System level stuff
Yeah we do, he's already higher than baseline (1 kilofoe) thanks to inverse-square law which dictates that the explosion would need to be that powerful if it wants to destroy the sun while originating from Earth

Wouldn't a blast that can completely destroy the sun from Earth's orbit would reach Neptune's orbit too?

An Explosion with a radius of the Sun's distance from earth would be High 4-C. Obviously Cell's 4-B explosion will spread to Neptune's orbit too based on that

Destroying Neptune from the Earth with an omnidirectional blast is only a High 4-C feat iirc. The baseline for 4-B is destroying Neptune from the Sun with an omnidirectional blast; a blast large enough to destroy the sun from Earth already takes into account the explosion is likely roughly 50 times the volume of the entire solar system. Which the result is just over a Kilofoe.

Can you explain this one part for me? Why is a blast that destroys the sun and earth 50X larger than one that destroys the sun and neptune? I know the blast keeps going and all but still.

The blast of destroying Neptune from Earth wouldn't destroy the Sun since it's power at the Sun's distance from Earth is not enough to overcome the GBE of the Sun

I will close this since I doubt it would lead anywhere.
