Well the plot is mediocre, but plus the lolis and **** it is horrible

The first game has ****, nyarlathotep being naked, etc.

It is based off of Lovecraft mythos

You download Demonbane 1, which is the **** loli screwup. Or sign up to Nicovideo to see Demonbane 2, which has no **** but twice as many lolis

The only bad thing about Demonbane is the fact that Demonbane logic > Real World / Common logic. It is stated in the Novel itself and you can find the excerpt about this in ACF.

It's not absolutely TERRIBLE, but it's not...well, good. Though my opinion may be swayed by the fact it does throw in the occasional good Mythos reference despite sodomizing the lore, at some points.

It's nice to see references to Cthugha and Ithaqua, not to mention the far more obscure Tick Tock Man. References to the underappreciated Dr. Herbert West from Herbert West: Reanimator make me happy, even if it's as one of the most tragically terrible characters in the whole series. Plus, "Clockwork Phantom" is the one of the coolest names for any mech, ever.

But with that said, yeah, there is a loooot of bad stuff, too. The story can sporadically jump all over the place and the game is sometimes more interested in showing off more panty shots of lolis than advancing the plot, which would benefit from being even a quarter as deep as Nyar's cleavage, which the game will shove in your face quite a few times (when Nyar isn't a blinged out priest or a giant robot, that is).

That said, this is probably way too much of an analysis for a VN in which the Necronomicon is a little girl.
