sasuke in the beginning of the series striking at at city block level due to knocking out a bear here in his profile
when a character knocks out a large animal
Usually to calculate the feat in this site you use square cube law for mass(say it’s a giant snake)
Then you use Speed/Length to get the speed of the creature
You use the KE formula to get the KE of the creature and scale it to the character who knocked the creature out
An example of this is the calculation of sasuke knocking out a large bear
However I don’t think the method that should be used
Their durability wouldn’t be the same to the KE
Let me give an example
Usual bolt is 94kg and completed the 100m run in 9.58 seconds
100/9.58 = 10.438m/s
KE = 1/2 * 94 * (10.438)^2 = 5120.736668 J or street level
So going by that calc anyone who can knock out usian bolt by hitting him in the head exerts an energy of 5120 Joules with their punches which is definitely not true according to this source you just need 150 J punch in the head for a lethal blow
Another example
A cheetah is 21kg to 72kg
46.5kg is the middle
Cheeta speed is 68-74.5 mph
That is 71.25mph or 31.8516m/s mid end
KE = 1/2 * 46.5 * (31.8516)^2 =23587.69 J
So according to that sasuke calculation you need to hit a cheeta’s head with 23K JOULES TO KNOCK IT OUT? So a anvil falling on the cheeta’s head from 15 meters weighing 100kg will have no affect? This doesn’t make any sense
Hitting usian bolt in the head and knocking him out doesn’t make your punches 5kJ neither does knocking out a cheeta by hitting its head make your striking 23kJ so the bear’s KE is not the same as the bear’s durability so sasuke knocking it out by hitting the bear’s head wouldn’t mean he scales to the KE of the bear
Edit: since it was brought to my attention that some people say sasuke stopped the bear’s charge thus stopping its KE however
We clearly see in the manga that the bear didn’t move/barely moved from its position as when the bear roared sasuke kicked it almost instantly it had no time to accelerate to its full speed so sasuke wouldn’t scale to its KE
