Dragon Ball Super Discussion Thread 100

Yes, but I don't think it's something he would "normally" use or have used for a significant amount of time to be on his profile

Ok then
Yeah it’s stated supreme Kai have the time ring in a guide, then Beerus & Whis states they’re something exclusive to Kais. Also, in this video 1:19 it’s stated that a Kai must have a supreme Kai potara earring to be able to use the time ring. (You can double check in Japanese if it’s accurate I just couldn’t find it with ease so I just coped with english)

Also I’m pretty sure if Shin got access to a time ring that’d mean that U7 has its own time ring.

I don´t think we should give it to him, since he was never shown using it, but if you want to put this in his profile you can, since it is unlocked

Manga Gohan is a bit of a bitch compared to the movie. (Obvious spoilers so if you care don't click)
Unfortunate. So while he still has good scaling, it's just a bit less good sadly.

Considering he no-selled a punch from Cell Max but struggled in a beam clash, that adds further supportive evidence for how much stronger a Blast can be than a punch/kick in Dragon Ball. Not that none of us already knew that but, a lot of people still don't understand that. Even though in the Raditz Saga this was already shown very well. I mean Raditz was literally dogging on both of them and their attacks couldn't even phase him. Piccolo's first yellow Ki blast on him literally did NOTHING to Raditz. Then Piccolo uses a special technique and it one-shots him. So xd.

I think it's worth noting that it isn't necessarily a Blast vs Kick/Punch thing. It's just how much Ki you're using. If you charge your fist with Ki it can be as strong as any blast, for example Gamma 2's sacrifice was him going to his maximum limits and smashing into Max with full force. People just need to use common sense. An ordinary Ki Blast is about equivalent to a punch or kick. A Kamehameha is obviously going to be far stronger than a Ki Blast, punch or kick. But a charged up punch with tons of Ki can definitely match a Kamehameha.

Yes but I more so mean average punches. And the technique does effect the strength. Which is why there's a Super Kamehameha and a regular Kamehameha.

In the anime and manga it is shown that you can go to the future of your own Universe (this is seen when Kaioshin travels with Zamasu to show a population of barbarians on a planet and their evolution over a thousand years), there it is mentioned that they must go back to your normal Universe and such, from what I can understand each Universe has its own time, past, present, and future.

So if a being can erase a Universe, it would be erasing the entire past, present, and future of its Universe.

It HAS to be Beerus now... right?

Depends. Toppo states Jiren surpasses Belmod in combat skill in the manga, not power. And while Beerus fights several other GoDs that's via skill superiority. It's shown in terms of power they're generally relative.

If Freeza has skill akin to Jiren and power close to a Destroyer he's at the level where he could probably force Beerus to go all out.

Bruh he should have been equal to beerus till now imagine in future beerus vs frieza happens and beerus says that frieza made him use only 50% of his full power I would be hella mad even though beerus is goated I want someone to surpass him already

That was a mistranslation actually, Toppo uses Sentō-ryoku (戦闘力) which is just power level

In that case nothing makes sense lol UI Goku is shown to match Jiren blow for blow in the ToP and only loses due to inexperience (stamina) and Beerus later praises UI Goku as 'godlike' when he fights Moro.

For all intents and purposes Black Freeza should one shot GoDs if he scales so far beyond Jiren and Jiren has power surpassing Belmod.

So let me get this straight.
  • SSB Vegito was claimed to surpass the level of Beerus in the Black Saga
  • Jiren surpasses Gods of Destruction in power (specifically Belmod)
  • Goku (who saw the GoDs all fight in the manga) believes Broly could be stronger than Beerus
  • Goku refers to Moro as his toughest opponent so far despite fighting Jiren and Broly and both being stated to surpass the GoD-level
  • Granolah wished to be the strongest in the universe and stomped UI Goku, firmly making him stronger than even Broly
  • Gas was made the strongest and far surpassed even that
  • Freeza came out of nowhere and oneshot Gas and is 'near' the God of Destruction level and is 'closer than Goku or Vegeta'
So uh...

Black Freeza >>>> Gas >> TUI Goku >> Granolah >> UI Goku >>>> Moro (Pre-UI) ~ SSB Vegito (Black)> Broly ~ Jiren ~ Beerus > Belmod > Black Freeza > TUI Goku >> Granolah >> UI Goku >>>> Moro (Pre-UI) ~ SSB Vegito (Black) > Broly ~ Jiren ~ Beerus > Belmod > Black Freeza...

Man I ******* love Dragon Ball Super scaling.

I see it bro

Beerus Full Power > Black Freeza >>>> Gas >> TUI Goku >> Granolah >> UI Goku >>>> Moro (Pre-UI) ~ SSB Vegito (Black)> Broly ~ Jiren ~ Beerus > Belmod > Black Freeza > TUI Goku >> Granolah >> UI Goku >>>> Moro (Pre-UI) ~ SSB Vegito (Black) > Broly ~ Jiren ~ Beerus > Belmod > Black Freeza...
Fixed.

Beerus was spitting

Special attacks obviously tank higher than normal attacks, if they had a technique that could focus that same amount of ki onto their punches, it would be the same effect
