can a polar bear get up to full speed at 20 meters? probaly but I think the hippo charging at the polar bear is going to out do the polar bear charging and that looks like its best option. Hippo has higher bite strength by 600 psi and has class 5 LS vs class 1 LS. Ill vote Hippo.

Polar bear does have some advantages over the Hippo. Notably it's sharp claws and superior agility. Its also likely a bit smarter and has a predatory instinct which the Hippo would lack as an omnivore.

But that's basically where it's advantages end.

The Hippo weighs like quadruple what a polar bear weighs. Heaviest polar bears are like 1,500lbs while the heaviest hippos can be 10,000 lbs. Insane weight difference that hinders the polar bears grappling and ability to overpower the enemy. Hippos also have way thicker skin that's heavily pierce-resistsnt. Supported by the fact that they can easily kill things like Lions and hyenas.

And being able to take hits from elephants of all things means the polar bear has no real brute force ability to significantly harm a hippo.

The hippo also has a greater bite force and ramming AP.

Honestly, this one isn't even close at all. A hippo is demolishing a polar bear.

Even if you put the hippo in the polar bears environment, it would probably still win.

It could probably solo 3 polar bears.

Even then Hippos are highly territorial animals, making them very aggressive animals that can snap if they perceive something as a threat, so even the Polar Bear having a natural predatory instinct won't help much
