I just noticed the profiles of transdual/paraconsistent characters and things in Dragon Ball Heroes (And apparently nowhere else) now list a number of "states" next to the type of paraconsistency they have. Specifically, "1 State" for the Dark Demon Realm and "3 States" for Mechikabura and Time Power itself. I could not find any explanation for what that means. There's nothing about this in the ability page and the explanations in all three profiles look like they're just explaining how these concepts are paraconsistent in general. Can anyone tell me what this "States" thing is about? Why doesn't the page for paraconsistent physiology explicitly lay it out?

It is just optional, but anyway, state is referring to Truth states in logic. Which you need to know that normally there is two states in logical duality which is A (true) and non/not-A (false). In classical logic only allows you to either is A (true) or non/not-A (false), if your existence violates this rule your existence is paraconsistent

Now according to two-valued logic there is only 2 truth states, which is either A or non-A. Due to many-valued logic, exist in a state outside of either A or non-A is also considered as truth state, and PP allows characters to exists in multiple of these truth states. So the amount of state on profile represent the amount of truth state said profile have

Since you brought DBH as example

1. Mechikabura is 3 states is because he is merged everything into himself, thus he is both A and non-A, simultaneously both. Being simultaneously both A and non-A violate classical logic, so he is PP and it is also a truth state, being A is 1 truth state and non-A is another truth state thus there is 3 truth states

2. Demon Realm have 1 is because it only exist in one truth state which is neither A nor non-A.

Same with Slay the Princess profiles

Wouldn't being both A and not-A just be 2 states then? Or is the third state the state which is neither A nor not-A like the Demon Realm? Because that's not how it sounded from the way you phrased it.
Same with Slay the Princess profiles
The Slay the Princess profiles are listed as 4 states. What's the fourth state? Actually wait. Is the implication that being both A and not-A is itself a third state? Again, how is it different from just existing in 2 states?

Being simultaneously both a and non-A will automatically make you have 3 states, since it mean you are A, non-A and both all at once

And I assume existing in 0 states is just NEP and not nonduality?

There is no 0 state because existence is already its own truth state, and nonexistence is also a truth state, being negation of existence, the false state of existence

Could you summarize for me the steps to attaining one to five truths (of transduality)?

Being
A
Non A
Both at the same time
Neither at the same time
Larry, all or neither 4 at the same time

Wouldn't Fuzzy logic give Infinite Logical States?

Besides just Infinite-Valued Logic?
