Luffy, similar to his brother Ace who he grew up fighting and training with has qualities that allow him to grow large amounts in the middle of battle. Ace was able to completely overpower someone he couldn't even damage moments prior.

In the same scan ace hits this random twice and then engages in a prolonged battle with this guy which is stated to have fatigued him. Afterwards ace then damages him.

I don't see how this would be fast enough to adapt to something that can KO in 2-3 hits

Luffy did the same against Crocodile. He was able to destroy Crocodile’s Desert Spada technique with each of his punches and even tank his ultimate attack while in a state of being poisoned, and having been impaled, dried out, and buried earlier. For reference, Luffy had to go out of his way to dodge Desert Spada twice, as he would have been completely bisected.

While this is impressive, a 6x ap difference is simply much higher than the difference between tanking an attack and getting bisected by the same attack

Literally Kachon did not said anything useful to invalidate the votes, Luffy getting stronger after 2 rounds against crocodile is not letting him survive 2 explosions back to back and Ace grew stronger with his Haki, something Luffy can't use yet

That said this was again, a prolonged battle that fatigued the guy he previously couldn't dmg so it doesn't really matter

Technically, but it's more like he just got it rather than actually being aware of it.

Reason why I'm saying this is because of this statement earlier
