Revaluation of SS Ichigo AP

Kinda lost interest in responding to the arguments cuz I think if the post is too big no one reads them but if no one tackles the latest set of posts from the supporters I will

that aside can we see the statement from said non canon game? unless my head isn't working (it's 2 am) I haven't seen an actual scan in regards to the ss being decimated in the game, I've seen the links that prove kubo supervised a new OC but that's it

how the game's sokyoku solidifies planet busting or even why that would be a kubo addition instead of the dev teams or why should that apply to the main canon is not something I have seen addressed

it's possible they sent it somewhere and I missed it so do let me know OP

also
in the statements that are in regards to the sokyoku's destruction it says Konkai for the soul society, Kon means soul, kai is from sekai meaning world or boundary, together meaning soul world which gets translated to soul society

where as typically soul society in the raws of the bleach manga will just say the english transliterated in japanese to be soul society (the world of the living in japanese gets called gensei but soul society typically does not get its own japanese name they just use the english name soru socaeiti)

this shows kubo going out of his way to differentiate from the signature label for the country, which means the destruction potential of the sokyoku involves the entire world involving souls which might as well just be low-2c who knows (yes even the "entire" is present in the raws)

do what you will with this info lol

I understand the problem with the initial Soukyoku scale; back then, planet-level bleach sounded like too much, and for a while, they didn't adequately acountaly for planetary destruction in the measurement, only considering the Seireitei evaporation. Someone brought this up again some time later, and it made us doubt whether SS was actually a planet, right? This path we have taken is wrong.

If the game is non-canon, i don't think trying to treat one particular element of it as canon is a good idea.
The only reason I brought it up was bcz of the fact that Kubo made the concept and characters himself, I pointed it out how I myself wouldn't use it as my sole bullet-proof argument and I just want to show the Author's intent regarding the power of Sokyoku.

Let's calm down, im also trying to solve The 6-B destruction we accept not even include SS, it should only encompass the vaporation of Seireitei. SS was never classified as a country or continent. The point is that we need to consider the destruction of SS that is being discussed. These destruction scales shouldn't seem absurd because we're talking about something with the power of millions of Zampakto. In the old scale, SS was also considered a planet, and Yamamoto's eventual destruction of SS is also global vaporation. Where did the argument that SS wasn't a planet first come from?
It came from the manga when everytime the soul society was elaborated on in literally any medium, it was related only to the landmass as the union of the Rukongai and the Seireitei.

I'm convinced yall are screwing with me. And I don't mean this as an insult, but everybody in this thread has read bleach. I know that because I've read bleach and I see a lot of familiar faces here. My issue is when I'm surrounded by peers superior than me in knowledge in a verse, but because of powerscaling brainrot, all of their knowledge goes to hell when it's time to discuss some shit.

The Soul Society is perceived as a realm. No one thinks otherwise. The Soul Society is one of the realms where spirits go in the afterlife, not including hell. Everyone knows this. Yall don't need to say it.

But when we finally get to the actual realm, where are we teleported into? This circular ass landmass with 2 main parts, the Rukongai and the Seireitei.
When we look into it, we know that when outside of the soul society (realm), the "soul society" is known as the realm.
But when inside the soul society (realm), the "soul society" is known as the large city.

Now, in advance, shut up. I'm not saying that it's the size of a city. Somebody almost had a panic attack when I said that. It's literally a city, it's just big as shit. It's a spot fully comprised with districts and just smaller sections of the city. It's not a country it's just a country sized city. So please calm down.

We get there and we see exactly what the extra canon sources speak of.
So we see many things.
"THE WORLD OF THE AFTERLIFE" consists of 2 parts. Rukongai, and the Seireitei.
The Seireitei is the center of the soul society. The PLANET has no center.
Do you know why people don't make that distinction between the city and the planet?
It's because the soul society is just known as the place where souls go. They don't go to that forest outside, they go to the city inside. The whole realm is the soul society, but that place is known as "the Soul Society" (city).
In the entirety of bleach that I know of, nobody has ever went outside the rukongai, not including upwards, the dimension up to the soul king's palace. They treat the soul society as the society of souls, where souls live, and it's only that city.

We know this for many reasons.
When Yhwach and the Wandenreich destroyed the soul society, they didn't even leave the rukongai. I don't even think they left the seireitei. Yet they treated it like the whole soul society was destroyed. Shown again, when Aizen was literally downstairs, yet they referred to the soul society as the place above when he was already trapped in there.
Even other things as simple as "night has fallen on the soul society". You can tell it isn't the universe since the universe doesn't have night time. You can also tell it isn't the planet since only half of the planet has night while the other is day. We can deduce that it's referencing the soul society living space.

Here is the total point.

The soul society is taken as the realm, the planet, and the union of the rukongai and seireitei. Most of the time, when outside of the realm, it's referring to the realm as a whole. But when inside, a lot of the time (not always), it's not.

So now I ask again. Outside of "well this other version can blow this shit up", why does it refer to THE WHOLE PLANET?

If anyone reads this and you think i'm saying "the soul society is only a city" then i need you to delete your account btw.

I'm saying it's all of them, but most of the time when it's referred to, it's referring to the city

Let me clarify something, Sokyoku's current scaling method needs to change, and scaling shouldn't only encompass the evaporation of Seireitei; someone should come up with an idea or a perspective.

The one that the series tells us

The seireitei

PLUS THE RUKONGAI

shouldn't this be closed? Qawsed, Damage and i think KT disagree with the thread, that's 3 staff members

So what do you think of this idea? I think using only the evaporation calc of the seireitei wouldn't be fair at this point. Discussions built upon these conversations thus become useful. 🙏
I was never a fan of using solely the seireitei when it flat out says it can destroy the soul society. I just never agreed with it meaning the planet.

Another thread would be needed for that, including a calc of the size of the soul society's diameter, and the destruction calc of it.

Using the diagrams given to gauge the diameter thats like twice the diameter of the seretei implying around 311 teratons using the same ground based explosion formula in case someone was curious how much that would yield

that could work but we needa scour the anime and manga to see if there's an actual birds eye view cause that diagram is dogshit

I wish that was an accurate bird's eye view map of Seireitei, because then we might stop treating it as being the size of Texas.
The source seems to be Mayuri's computer at TYBW. But the person who does the retouching and coloring might change that.

Is this an actual canon depiction? Do you know what episode this is sourced from?

How come this isn't used?

Despite being the clearest possible shot of the Seireitei in the manga, it isn't used because it contradicts information from other sources like a novel or a movie, IIRC, which indicate Seireitei is much larger than it is depicted in the manga.

And there's a one-time travel statement given by Yoruichi in the beginning of the Soul Society arc that it would take them ten days to walk to the next gate from the gate they tried entering in. Which doesn't make a whole lot of sense IMO.

Why isn't the ten day statement used?
