just because it can, dosent mean it will, the moon presence from what i can understand only reiwnds time when the hunter is dead unless the hunter uses hunters mark, which in this case he cant use.
No, it will, and has done so in-game multiple times. It does not matter if he is alive or dead, it will rewind time if he is at any point rendered unable to fight

Then I don't understand how this isint a stomp. He has one wincon maybe and that's Rob's sealing capabilities and that's iffy at best since he was getting power directly from rob (the entity) instead of using the rob glove

Going with the Hunter FRA
Ok, I’m not op I’ll wait for him to count. Before more people start voting I jsut want to bring out how weekly claims that the hunter could rewind time to prevent him from getting transmutation hax yet has shown zero scans. So I don’t see why soemthing like hitman golden bullets, the flex or megarock wouldn’t just be gg. And if he does provide proper scans it’s a stomp cause slap has literally zero wincons p

Normal users can't ping

Edit: Can someone show me the main wincons?
Slap pretty much has one wincon and it’s transmutation hax, they’re the only thing that could properly incap hunter without killing him and reviving him. Slap has a small handful of gloves that could do it like megarock, the flex, pan or hitmans golden bullet (these all come with power null) Weekly claims thwt the hunter cna revive regardless if he’s dead if hes unable to fight but I’ve been asking for scans for the past couple days for scans and haven’t gotten them. As for the hunters wincon I feel like I would misrepresent them if I said them so you’d have to ask weekly

A thing that I want to point out is the player dying in slap battles after being transmutated is game mechanics. In the flex banned the people that are transmutated are stuck like that long enough to the point where there was enough of them to build a golden throne out of them. Another reason I think it’s game mechanics is because they obviously csnt leave the player stuck like that.

I mean, the result here is gonna be the same as the result in the travis thread, the player COULD win but theres no guarantwe that theyll lead with a slap combo that would let them, whereas the Hunter just needs a few good seconds of cqc to win. Could that with a dodge based fighter against the player's contact based abilities, the hunter should take this

Yea I am voting Hunter, you can’t convince me this characterless character would pick the best option

Most players would pick the best most practical option, which will most likely be instant kill shit.
I doubt he'd be using dumb shii like default.

The problem is a vs thread assumes the player isn't controlled by a person, its just a standard personality

If they don't have a go to movement without being player controlled, you can't really make an argument that they'd lead with any one thing, especially for a character with such a massive arsenal

We need to assume slap at least has common sense, if he sees the hunter isinr one shorted by his strongest glove (Overkill or smth that’s brute force), why wouldn’t he go for the handfuls of gloves thst kill by ignoring conventional durability.

Also there needs to be a crt if 90 percent of the response to valid wincons of a roblox character are “muh characterless”

Slap is smart enough to do a lot of things he should at the bare minimum have Common sense. If he truly does decide to lead with somethint like bob or overkil and he sees the hunter revive from it, then why wouldn’t he not go for the glove that turns him into a living statue, and it’s not just one glove it’s like 5 of them

I’m confused what you mena by could that with a dodge based fighter, you might’ve made a spelling error. While I assume the player is nowhere near as skilled at the hunter they’re skilled enough to fight swordsmen so I donr see why he gets meha stomped especially since he would run away when something realizes he could harm him. We can use the same logic for the hunter, is he not a player characrer, no garunteed he’d continently pick soemthing like blood letter that he dosent know would kill the player. You csnt just shift from blood letter gg to cc gg stop backtracking. Another thing I want to bring up is slap is actually more likely to use his non durability reliant one shots in a fight as eberyone in his game no sells his value and this is a death battle so I don’t see why he wouldn’t sssume the same especially giving he has no knowledge on the player.

Matter of fact, he dosent even need to use close quarters, hitman golden bullet has auto tracking and he can snipe from 100s of meters away, and megarock he could just camp in there if he feels he’s overwhelmed, and he’s willing to wait it a rock for ten hours so don’t even say self incap. You went from arguing thst the hunters time rewind counters everything slap does to saying “ok maybe it dosent but……”. Sorry if I got worked up, voting slap

One more thing I wanted to add, @Arkansalter2 is rigt to an extent, if slap sees a foe he assumes to be on the same level of him do you really think he’s gonna pick a glove like zzzz that just makes himself fall asleep. Don’t see why slap would pick any glove that isint combat applicable

That needs prep, son.
Well I do have an argument for it but it’s a bit of a reach so I’ll just throw it away. Still dosent change my points about megarock or the flex. And if hunters dodging too much jusr stun him with something like stun or bind and them hit him.

One more thing (sorry I know I’m clogging the thread), but if the hunter needs a few seconds minimum to kill slap in h2h, thsts plenty of time for slap to equip something like reverse or elude and get out of there. El gato glove also gives slap full hp and attack reflection so he basically has a shit ton of time to trial and error (even though I already listed why a transmutation glove would likely be one of his first options, if you don’t buy it he has plenty of ways to continue trial and error)

The hunter's fighting style is extremely aggressive and prioritizes dodging attacks in close combat rather than blocking or parrying them. Alternatively, he can counter attacks with any one of his guns, which induces paralysis in those hit if they ate hit mid-attack.
While I assume the player is nowhere near as skilled at the hunter they’re skilled enough to fight swordsmen so I donr see why he gets meha stomped
Theres a big difference between 'fighting a swordsman' and 'matching dozens of hunters with decades of experience in a variety of weapons, including the person who invented all the fighting styles that hunters use, being able to beat him blindfolded, and doing all of this in a single night deapite having zero prior combat experience'
especially since he would run away when something realizes he could harm him.
The hunters having over a dozen guns, two cannons, a bow, throwing knives and firebombs and multiple ranged spells, one of which is a homing attack, makes running away unlikely

yeah but that's the thing, the hunter doesn't need any one specific ability or weapon to win here, his stuff isn't locked to specific equipment like the Player's is. The bloodletting is just a bonus but it's not the only thing letting him win.

Do you have a scene of him doing this without player control?

I don’t have a scene of him doing this without player control, but since the player has shown emotions before and is smart enough to operate a cloning machine, has fought dozens of battles etc we need to assume he at least have some sense of common sense. On top of this everyone in his verse no sells his value so why wouldn’t he assume this for the hunter and use soemthing that would insta kill especially since this is a fight to the death. Ignore the running away point I addressed it (elude glove). Do you have scans of the hunter being extremely aggressive with no player control?

The fact that he has 250+ weapons to choose from and only a small handful of them can actually do anything to the hunter
I already explained this….

And again, without any indication of hot the player would fight without player control/influence, you cannot viable argue for any one strategy as all the stuff done is purely based on the person controlling the player. Unless there are cutscenes or NPC gameplay, everything you mentioned is entirely based on player control and thus non-canon.

No, I’m saying what the player would likely do with common sense, he’s not mindless and has shown signs of intelligence a lot so we need to assume he least has that. Do you have proof the hunter would switch to his ranged weapons when slap gets away when he uses elude. If you don’t it’s non canon. You cannot use this logic when the person you advocating for is non canon.
Alr so from what I got

Hunter: Kelix, freddil, shion

Slap: nobody yet
I voted for slap earlier

And you cannot advocate for the hunters fighting style of ranged/meele because you’ve shown nothing of him outside player control. Most of the stuff yiu just said had already been addressed. Slap would likely use his Duraneg glove cause he would assume that hunter no sells him regular gloves like every one else in his verse

The player literally fights skilled opponents such as Bob Dave and Ajax and it’s cnon to the slap battles story. By your logic we can day it’s impossible to scale any video game character cause al story related boss fights are done via player control. I am not saying slap is going to come up with some genius plan, I’m saying that within the context of the story he is very far from an idiot and would at least have the common sense to deduce the things I mentioned
