Naruto Uzumaki vs Son Goku [14-2-0]

Yeah but that's because mastering "every martial art" is damn near useless.

As that one Hollywood actor once said "I fear not the man who has trained 1000 kicks but the man who trained one kick 1000 times"

And "higher belt levels" are okayish for inverse skill scaling if you're short in time but even those are very bad as arguments because they don't account for the individual persons intelligence and other personal attributes. Skill is too complex to be decided purely by a single number like that.

Sure I'll reply there ig.

I heavily disagree with the part about it being useless. Ive been grappling for two years because it helps with my hand problems (i compete in soccer). My current boxing coach master of sports; you only get that if you are top 5 in your weight class. He added Tai Chi to his system because its elite for manipulating balance and generating power in the inside game. Every martial art has strengths that help you in or outside the fighting world. I think you just lack experience and dont like it because of Dragonball got it XD

Sorry, but this would be way too much work for me. I always forget that most powerscalers are 10 years old. I might tackle the higher belt systems instead in near future, because even if you have reached black belt level, theres still a lot you can improve on whether its grappling or even simple things like your jab. A higher belt system could mean better and more fine tuned fundamentales.

I never said knowing multiple martial arts is useless.
I said knowing ALL martial arts is. Because after a certain point the different martial arts start overlapping in what they teach and achieve, and many martial arts are just not as good as the others. So it's much more effective to learn a smaller set of most effective martial arts and then try to improve those as much as possible. It's why professional MMA fighters aren't just collecting martial arts like Pokémon cards but are instead mastering a handful of them.

This is ESPECIALLY true with fictional martial arts where a single martial art combines the best aspect of hundreds of martial arts into one perfect martial art which is so effective even just knowing it makes you equal to 20-50 trained soldiers. Someone who mastered a fictional martial art like that really isn't going to benefit much from knowing ******* Aikido lmao

Not only is this not true but it's also so unnecessarily toxic man.

Sure, I never said being a higher belt doesn't mean you're vaguely better than a lower belt or anything like that. I'm saying that just because a series doesn't introduce an in-universe ranking like that doesn't mean it's any less skilled.

Again especially in fiction where there's so many factors to take into account which shape how skilled a person is as a fighter.

Maybe if you actually read what I'm saying instead of sniffing your own farts you would understand it.

ain't shit was explained to him, rewatch that portion of the fight

the man pieces it together on his own after testing the waters
The Galactic Patrol Chief and Jaco literally say to him what Hit does before the fight, and Goku also saw how Hit attacks before he steped in to fight him

Also, again, how's duducing mere 0.1 seconds into the future functionally different than, say, the Sharingan?
