we should ban linking/listing non-existent files on verse pages

I hate it. It gives a falsified misdirection on how many pages the verse actually has which discourages contributors, and ESPECIALLY if it's a gallery image, ESPECIALLY if it is a 50+ page verse, ESPECIALLY if the gallery image is linked and it leads to an uncreated page: that's straight up red-linking.

I believe the point should probably be listed in the site rules as well
