the scouters behave like phones irl in earth, at Speed of Light speeds, when calling someone they reach one end of the world to another in milliseconds, but a scanning machine may not be that fast at analyzing stuff

at intergalactic distances the scouters send information instantly, but you can visibly see that they take longer to scan someones power levels, so first raditz takes some time to scan Gohans power level, then after it was scanned, information is sended instantly to Vegeta and Nappa

dunno but i dont think that would be accepted, at most its baseline FTL from the blitzing technology

anyway im with the Namek Dragon balls calc, i would use andromeda galaxy end for earth to namek distance, but the galaxy quadrants being 1/4 of an observable/infinite universe makes it seems way too low

maybe using the nearest galaxy clusters from earth? im not really aknowledged on how the universe its composed

also about the users reaction speed and ki sensing, they would still just be sensing them from far away minutes before they land to namek, the saiyan saga gohan example you gave, even from much further away gohan would notice them, its just that specifically for a extremely short moment (VERY FAR from minutes) they moved outside of where gohan was sensing ki, which lead to gohan thinking they dissapeared

also it would be inconsistent as many times there are moments the characters feel a menacing high KI coming at them much before the character stronger than them arrives, for example gohan and krillin could sense vegeta coming when they where wishing to porunga with dende, they are clearly not faster than vegeta who was comparable to 1st for freeza

hovewer i guess that supports dbz manga characters also keeping up with saiyan pods like the dbz toei are implied by gokus spaceship doing so

You know the highest MFTl+ we are finding are related to character reacting to stuff going across intergalactic distances quickly, with a bunch of them being related to Saiyan pods

That would be relevant, surely there are many times were characters are keeping or reacting at those going at top speeds, across many continuities too
 
With how much people say dragonball is acted against it feels like someone could of acted to counter this pretty easily if they thought to add more speed feats to support the multiplers.

Even I, who am obsessed with DB, rarely notice speed feats unless they’re right in front of my face. Most people end up ignoring smaller feats, and I myself had never noticed several speed feats in DB.

I never even noticed the namic Dragon Balls fly to earth I thought they teloported with them ir maybe that they made a new set on the spot

That’s actually something I never noticed either. I always pay more attention to the fights and end up forgetting what happens on screen.

Btw in the freezer explosion calc, while fighting Goku I recall that Frieza wanted to hurry up on beating him to escape to not get hit by the explosion of the planet (cuz seemingly he couldn't abort the explosion happening) so it's implied that freeza by himself could escape from that 1000 light-years wide explosion by himself, it's not only being that his attack speed is that fast

So at least, 10 billion FTL 50%/100% freeza seems perfectly fine, the post gravity training Goku scaling to the saiyan pod may get discussed tho

(All to upscales Namek high tiers and Androids saga mid tiers before the infinite speed scaling tho, just want bigger numbers)
 
I don't know if you guys know this or not—I've seen a couple of you do it before—but only Wiki staff are allowed to actually ping users. It doesn't show up in their notifications if a regular member mentions them.

Plus, it should be noted that whose physical bodies land at High 1-B and higher get Infinite Speed by default, as any non-negligible movement across an infinite number of dimensions entails moving an infinite distance.

Say you're at coordinate (1, 1, 1, 1, 1) and you move to coordinate (11, 11, 11, 11, 11). The total distance moved is (10, 10, 10, 10, 10), which is calculated as:
  • SquareRoot(10^2 +10^2 + 10^2 +10^2 + 10^2)
  • SquareRoot(500)
  • SquareRoot(100 * 5)
  • 10SquareRoot(5) or 22.36
So if you move any distance over an infinite number of coordinate points, that will result in infinite speed being achieved. Immeasurable is never a default rating, however, and must be demonstrated in some capacity.

About the genkidama, I'll check tomorrow about statements of characters perceiving the particles of energy heading to Genkidama gathering them, which would support that characters reactions can scale to the Genkidama gathering

(Not that I think Saiyan saga Goku Genkidama scales to this, just like the range of the Genkidama has gotten bigger, like in Saiyan saga just gathering from all around earth, then in Namek it was nearby planets and stars, and in buu saga the whole universe, I believe the speed may have changed, as if Goku's power level was related to the gathering speed)
 
Damn, I started a new flying balls meta, hope it will live and upgrade manga and anime speed scaling. Also we need to revision Namek explosion calcs and the planet's size
 
Some of those calcs are blatantly wrong, Cells Kamehamega can at most reach several 10,000 kms above earths surface within any given timeframe, we can clearly see the earth’s curvature on panel where it reaches space

The expansion speed of Cells Kamehameha ( which doesn’t happen) is at best a few single digits FTL (30 s) useless for scaling.

Genkidama energy gathering speed has no clear line of scaling to the characters
