Pretty much, last ctr didn't exactly work due of the fact that i had 13+ calcs and 17+ proposals for the new scaling for the whole verse (previus crt), it wasn't totally rejected, just abbandoned ig.

So i will just go haed and just do "1" thing at the time this once, hopefully it's better.

Varius Calcs and Revisions

So, the bread monster calc is currently rated as a magnetude 3.5 earthquake, but i have reasons to belive this one is a 4.0 earthquake based on some evidence.

For reference
  1. The marcally scale specifies that a 4.0 earthquake is: "Felt indoors by many" "Walls make a cracking sound" "Sensation like an heavy truck striking a building" wich do all correspond to what we hear and see in the feat.
  2. 3D rapresentations of earthquakes shows us that a 3.5 looks to be less violent to what we ear in the video: 3.5 - 4.0.
So my proposal is to upgrade the feat to the baseline for a 4.0 earthquake, 15.0802413958 Tons of tnt (City Block level)

Scaling

Everyone on base should have these stats (not counting the multipliers that we have in MVM):
  • Attack Potency: 67.5 Tons of tnt
  • Speed: Mach 3.85 <-doesn't change
  • Lifting Strenght: 1.67 Metric Tons
All vaporization feats only scale to the mercs weapons, but the mercs should get Resistence to Heat and Matter manipulation as they still deal a lot with these weapons.

It will be added a new Key for the mercs, Australium Chase, every mercs just upscale their Robot War Key here, but Heavy gets an At most stat that gives him ap comparable to the average Australian, giving him At most 119.233 Kilotons, this applies to heavy because:

  1. He menages to hold his own against Meggie in tug war, who's an Australian.
  2. Survives a beating against TFC heavy, who had access to australium at that moment (Australium is the source of Australian's strenght)
Saxton Hale pretty much upscales everything lol (Hale will be 6-B due of this statement).

Are we just gonna use the common feat for earthquakes for the Bread Monster or your revised end for the original calculation?
yes, baseline 4.0 earthquake cuz the method for the area has it's flaws

and also because darkcaricola won't respond me

For the AP, Dr.Grorfbort a completely different franchise, so I am not sure we can use it. As for the podcasts, are they even canon or officially endorsed by Valve?
The Bread Monster Upgrade looks fine

Same issue. Is the podcast canon? Isn't even official?

Edit: There is this

Sorry if i respond now it's 2 am now, but this is just a stat revision for the verse.

Other stuff related to abilities and such will be done in a later crt after this one, so if u got ideas on what to add to the abilities previusly discussed in the previus crt, it would be pretty cool put of you.

Later, let's focus on the tier changes for now.
Fair enough.

My main contention is with using Dr.Grorfbort at all, but it doesn't seem to matter that much given the calcs

realistically, there's only 1 calc that is 100% not related to tf2 at all (kaiyu vap calc), the rest is either taken from a tf2 burp of the weapons (that were specifically supported by valve for the game) or in game feats of the weapons.

But, yeah... from one hand, yes it's a feat from another continuity, in the other hand they are using the literal same weapons.

am i even allowed to pin them?

i don't really know if they would even want to come here considering they just left me there to methaphorically "rot"
I get it, but otherwise it might look like we're trying to circumvent their disagreements.

Only staff can ping others, I was thinking of messaging them through their preferred communication channels.

fine by me then

i'll see if they respond to my messages

So like, how exactly would anyone scale to the whole “aliens blowing stuff up” part of this besides a vague “they fought aliens” statement?

the only one who realistically scales to that are the:

Australians: pretty much fended off the whole invasion on their continent (mind you the aliens came down blasting, mf vaporized an entire group of hippies instantly, so i they would use their weapons against the Australians too).

Meggie: she's an Australian or at the very least comparable to that

Hale: yeah

TFC Heavy (only with immortality machine): has access to australium and this one is repetitly stated to give australians their abilities.

Heavy (as an at most value only in the Australium chase key): He has contended with meggie and TFC Heavy gave him a beating for a long time.

The mercs themself do not scale due of the fact that as you say, their participation to the war was questionabile.
