I have begun to check through it, and will do more later.
However, there was a very disproportionate focus on Marvel and DC comics, rather than concrete regulations for fiction in general, which was more my intention with this thread.
I may have to rewrite it a bit, but have to do so later, as I must go to bed soon.

However, I am not certain that we can use it as a policy page quite yet.
In addition, we still need to define regulations for composite profiles, not just the alternative canon versions.

I am still very uncertain on composite profiles. I most often fail to see the point of them, unless the individual continuities are too small for sufficient scaling. (For instance, our Darkstalkers profiles are composites of the Udon Comic, the two videogames and the 4 Episode OVAs).

Well, we do have a composite Link profile, but I cannot recall any beyond that.
Nevertheless, the page is called "Alternative Canon and Composite Profiles". We need some sort of guideline for the latter.
Or should we simply mention that they should be judged on an individual basis, if the different versions are too dispersed and incoherent to make a clear picture of individually?

Link, Black Rock Shooter, Mickey Mouse, Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan are the only true composite profiles we have (I.E, mixing feats from a wide variety of installments). Most other "composite profiles" only merge two or three versions for necessity.
