So uh...

Nikolai's 9-A+, right on the threshold of 8-C. What is Deerclop's AP? Also the Deerclops's power list seems to be barebones AF, Nikolai has a slew of resistances that basically cancel all of it out.

0.15 tons via high end of the tree destruction feat. It's literally in the profile

Also he doesn't need to be frozen, he can still be stabbed by ice spikes. Does Nikolai have ice manip resistance?

It has to hit Nikolai first, assuming he doesn't dodge it.

Equalizing speed means Nikolai get insta-frozen with no way to reliably attack anymore. Unequalizing speed means Nikolai blitzes to kingdom come.

The Deerclops actually has a very obvious tell before it's about to attack (Raising its arms high above its head), making aim dodging extremely easy even for characters comparable to its speed. The second key Deerclops does have a preference to using energy attacks instead

Should I use that and equalize speed?

Possibly.

Okay so...

Since it's a forest, what exactly stops Nikolai from climbing through the trees and repeatedly air-assassinating the Deerclops until the damn thing dies? How is it going to compensate for Nikolai's stealth?

Being big? I mean, that should protect most of its vital organs

Also The Deerclops has a tendency of knocking down trees when it attacks so the longer the fight goes, the less of an advantage Nikolai has

But you said he's gonna start with an air assassination.
Yes, but then he can start blasting in. Shooting is his second attack after air assassinations, some of his attacks end with him shooting his gun into his enemies with the bayonet still sticking out of them.

Ah yes, bayonet assassinations. They're always the best.

Is this is a stomp? Because I can still change the fight's location

I mean, only way the Deerclops might have a chance at winning is if you put them in an open field where Orelov's stealth would be effectively useless and would thus nerf his winning conditions by a good margin.

Done, this is now happening in a Plains Biome

Aight, now it's more fair.

So uh, how far does the Deerclops's attacks go? Because Orelov still has a massive range advantage with his rifle and can aim and shoot real freakin' quick if his life depends on it.

Several meters but starting distance is 5 meters

Well then, Nikolai can just start spamming his smoke bombs to blind the animal, use his own Eagle Vision to bypass the smoke, quickly cover the 5 meters, jump up the Deerclops and shove his bayonet into the thing's head and then pull the trigger repeatedly until the brain's all mush. Man can leap quite the distance even when standing still. That or the grapple gun to climb up quick.

Alright then. Voting Nikolai?
