Cole MacGrath vs. Pikachu

Pikachu does have a minor AP advantage, but then again how many good non electric attacks does he have?

Most of Pikachu's non-electric moves tend to consist of stat buffs/debuffs or just Pikachu physically hitting his opponent.

Given that it only gets Psychic (the move, not the type), just telekinesis. Relatively powerful telekinesis, but telekinesis nonetheless.

So, I'm assuming that neither of them will be able to hurt each other with their electric-type attacks right?

Pretty much, due to Cole being Cole and Pikachu having Lightning Rod.

Question about Cole. Does being hit with lightning up all of his attacks? Because that's the case for Pikachu's special attacks (which really only apply to Swift, Disarming Voice, and Psychic after nixing the electric moves)

TBH he might, Pikachu has a fairly decent AP advantage.

Still I'm not sure......Might go with inconclusive

^That

Cole has Grenades, Rockets, non-electric projectiles that can all be amped by ice.

Also if they make physical contact even once Pika does from Drain.

Doesn't Cole tend to keep his distance? Not sure if Drain would come into play here.

Question: would Ionic Vortex count as an electric type move? He basically just throws a tornado a you. Also what about power null?

Electric Attacks straight up bounce of this dude.
No, I mean that if Pikachu uses the move correctly, because of Encore, Cole would only be able to use the last electric attack he used until Encore wears off.

Test today so I'll only leave one thing

Cole has the advantage of becoming really strong and unlocking new moves the more he's exposed to electricity. So the more lightning he receives, the easier he could close the gap. RFI Cole can indefinitely fly too and passively gets stronger faster than his normal form.

Hmm....

All things considered, Cole just beats poor Pika to death with the amp. Any electrical attacks it tries will only heal Cole.

Pikachu has none electric move to you know. Such as tackle and iron tail.

Yeah, but he's probably less likely to switch without help from Ash, while Cole could easily figure out he's doing no damage.

On the other hand Cole can actually drain the electricity from Pikachu
If you're talking about bio-leech then Cole wouldn't do that in-character.

People really need to get out of the mindset that Pokemon are just mindless beings without trainers and lack the knowledge to strategize and think for themselves.
is there a way to give multiple kudos? lol
