I then attack Ovoth, only to get my ass kicked. I see Ovoth about to attack everyone, so I try to sneak away, only to catch Ovoth's attention, who is furious of my cowardice, only to realize that I am simply trying to get his attention to get him away from everyone, his anger turns to pride in me, and offers to spare my life and fight me in the Tower of Zot eventually.

Ovoth realizes that Decimus would be furious at him for sparing Public, and decides to retract the offer to spare his own life.

Decimus actually sees this as a perfect opportunity, which he lies to Ovoth about, being the slimy bastard Decimus is. Decimus actually holds trust in nobody except Ovoth, whom he calls back to base to explain a fake plan.

The real plan is that Decimus sees Public as an opportunity to create a perfect fighter, and shares the plan with Jack, which is, after losing, to fuse his stands to get Amun-Ra (This actually happened in egyptian god lore) to steal the soul of Public and create a new team member usig combine technology.

He sees an unconscious Dark, who was close to finding my identity, but yet, a wound like that would make him forget. Dark wakes up, and tries to warn Daniel of the stand that is behind him.

I summon my own stand Dark Infinity-"Whoo, haven't done that in a while!"-and we both punch the stand that punched through Daniel with the Cosmic Energy Stone glowing, forcing its body to burst and spraying blood and guts everywhere.

Time freezes, and it shoves a knife into Dark's neck, not shallow enough to be lethal, but keeping it so that dark would pass out because of the pain. Everything Dark saw was in stopped time, but the blood was Dark's blood, along with Daniel's. Time resumes, and Daniel lands a few hits on Blue Eyes Crying IIn The Rain. "My apologies, Daniel." I say through my stand, speaking with a voice foreign to Daniel. "I shouldn't have had to do this, it pains me more than anything. My goal was just to apprehend Dark and send him to prison. He came too close to my identity." I say, almost killing Daniel, when, all of a sudden, Marco, Star and Private break in the tower. Another coin toss happens and time is erased. This is to make the retreat. Daniel and Dark are healed. I withdraw my stand. "Shit, I could get them all at once right now, but I dont know what firestarter or Damage Inc.'s abilities are, I better play it safe, and wait for it to be used in combat. Luckily, 1km in range means easy recon." I say. "However, I can only use it to its fullest potential at 10 meters." I say, as my face changes to that of a former ally.

""Guardian of the multiverse" my butt." One Combine Elite responds with an African-American gangster's accent before he is looked at strangely by the rest of all the Combine including Decimus. "What, my bros? The Godmode King could easily destroy this guy."

"Yes, but he is busy destroying the Omni-Joke Nexus and trying to get young Danielle Whittens to release her truest self at the moment." Decimus waves his metal claw in dismissal. "For now, best not to disturb him." Decimus raises his arms and fires hundreds of black holes at Aexi.
