Dashing Ability

Well, I would like to propose adding a Dashing ability page, since several characters have this skill and there is no page.

And well, maybe add a dash speed section to the speed page. (optional)

If this gets added, I'd put a better example image and also add Master Chief and Doomguy to the Users since they're basically who this ability came from.

I did give permission to the OP to make the thread, but this is a staff only thread and anyone who is not staff and not the OP shouldn't post without permission via Staff Thread rules.

But anyway, I can think of the idea, but I am unsure if it is distinct enough from simply having superhuman speed (That is both movement and combat). Though of course, there are characters who use it to build up speed and just get even faster as they keep on running. The Flash, and Quicksilver would most definitely be seen as the most iconic users alongside Sonic. And it's not quite as advanced as homing attack being note worthy. And there would need more types listing to make the page.

i really do not think this is necessary
there is nothing here not already covered by other pages
the entire definition of your suggested page is "an ability that temporarily makes the user faster", which can just be clarified as Statistics Amplification and then explain in the justification that it briefly increases the user's speed along with any other caveats it may have

Isn't this just a temporary speed amp?

Sonic already has such a thing listed as a separate speed + stat amp.

Seems pretty pointless, sorry.

Yee "Dashing" isn't a unique ability and is something anyone can do with the utilization of one's combat speed

Dashing very fast or far is just superhuman dashing, which is based on Superhuman Physical Characteristics

If it were to be a unique ability, something like Supernatural Dashing could work, where when someone dashes, they are intangible, but ultimately that's unnecessary and would be like adding supernatural punching as an ability because they can "Instant Death" someone when they punch
