Also does anyone think that if DB composites Link for the rematch they'll possibly make him universal due to the one in A Link to the Past beating complete Triforce Ganon? IIRC they did say that the entire Triforce was likely universal in the Ganon vs Dracula Q&A.

Boomstick: So, basically Final Fantasy does everything it can to not be subtle, just like Sephiroth's most devastating attack: Supernova, which decimates an entire solar system! Wait, if Seph is that powerful, how does anyone ever beat him?

Wiz: Don't get the wrong idea here. There's a lot of debate as to how Supernova actually works, but I think it's pretty clear that Sephiroth isn't creating the explosion himself. Rather, he's transporting his foes to a specific point in time in an alternate dimension.

Boomstick: Careful Wiz, don't sell him short.

They only mentioned the Triforce of Power being planet level, or a planet level battery as they put it, but having just checked the Q&A they mention the complete Triforce being able to sustain the dimension of Lorule and having power equivalent (Albeit not concretely) to a single universe.

Also in regards to their representation of supernova they don't count it as an illusion but rather him teleporting the party into another dimension where a supernova naturally occurs.
 
Uh, my comment wasn't about Shadow losing to Ryuko or all that jazz, pretty sure Shadow will beat her since the Sonic series need their pity win like Amy vs Ramona, it's just that time limit is still a thing so Sonic characters are going to lose to almost any universal character

Amy Rose vs Shao Kahn(Sonic the Hedgehog vs Mortal Kombat)
Connections:
Incredibly strong hammer wielding beasts who hit like a truck and routinely overpower other top tiers of their verse (Amy casually backhanding Knuckles and Shao Kahn bodying Raiden as examples). They're also lovestruck to a single individual and will do anything to get them, Amy doing anything to get to Sonic and Shao Kahn at least twice organising for Sindel's revival and showing clear affection in Mortal Kombat 11 Aftermath. They contrast in multiple ways as well, Amy having a high pitched cutesy voice and Shao Kahn sounding like an entire missile factory that hates you. Amy is small and dainty wearing a dress that covers most of her up while Shao Kahn is large and imposing and wears so little clothes it's like he's filming for a porno where he needs to throw them off at a moments notice. They also have fought against the protagonist in the past and never won, and despite numerous characters achieving super forms in their series (Super Sonic, Super Shadow, Super Silver and Fire God Liu Kang, Elder God Champion Scorpion and Elder God Amped Raiden) they have never actively gotten a true super form of their own of any real note.

We have had Amy Rose vs King Dedede before. Amy Rose vs Shao Kahn will just bore me.

Speaking of which, why people want Guts to come back to fight against Clare or Dimitri and much fewer people are asking who should Nightmare fight against should Nightmare comes back? One thing clear: Spinal vs Cervantes is overdue - likely longer than Crash vs Spyro.
