How much AP would be required to "rival an entire division of a nation's military".

In order to defeat superior forces is not necessaey AP, but a combination of several advantages, such speed, combat, dexterity, etc.

Sometimes added with some strategy and social influence.

Or straight out hax

As I said, the combination of several factors, although if it is shear AP, speed or hax I would consider it boring.

Depending on a lot of factors, the numbern of guns being used, the type of guns, other weapons such as explosives and such. In other words it's not something you can really quantify.

Worse of all, the statement seems flowerer than Flowey.

To compare, Yujiro Hanma was also considered as strong enough to "rival an entire division of a nation's military". We disregard this statement. But we look at how he can stop earthquake shockwaves with a punch and how he defeated Biscuit Oliva who can also create earthquake shockwaves. And earthquake values are looked at Earthquake Power Chart.

The statement is flowery, sure. But it's narration, it's not like the S class themselves are saying this to hype themselves up.
