So first off.
Ichigo without tanjiro's Hinokami Kagura into play is 1.9x stronger than tanjiro physically so there's a physical advantage for soul boi. In the last thread, it was stated that ichigo is indeed invisible but is able to be interacted with, as such tanjiro should be able to detect and fight back against ichi with his sense of smell. Tanjiro has access to acrobatics and safe to say "more skilled" than a live action ichi here in terms of feats and has a range advantage with his attacks so he should be able to work around the AP advantage. The AP advantage shouldnt be much of a problem as he has fought others like rui who can one hit him casually but was still able to keep up a bit with his threads (which are inferior but comparable to his neck in dura) and in exchange defeat the guy with his Hino amp, albeit with nezuko's help. Constant Flux and his acceleration breathing according to tanjiro's profile is a power but also a speed amp for tanjiro which would kinda murk ichigo in cqc. Tanjiro has piercing damage with attacks like whirlpool which would be diffucult and almost impossible for ichi to escape as these are one of tanjiro's attacks with Several Meter range. Tanjiro also has pressure points which he could use to knock ichi out. Leaning towards tanjiro due to his many wincons and many ways around a AP advantage.

Does he start with that? Or is it a like.... final stand move? Curious about that cuz that might change the course of the match as tanjiro has no counter, UNLESS we agree tanjiro can sense him about to use that move then dodge with the help of his senses.

I mean the only reason tanjiro will be able to fight ichigo here blow for blow is due to his senses, so i wouldnt be strange to say he can just dodge an attack from ichigo normally despite it having capabilities to mingle with his soul. He is skilled enough and has many abilities capable of making this possible and it's not like its a ranged attack, he has to get up close to use it as the guy has Extended Melee Range on his profile while tanjiro is a cqc/ranged fighter due to breathing styles.

That part is a genjutsu. Basically Tanjiro just doesnt get hit by ichigos attacks at all.
