Read the whole thing that Chariot posted (F*ck you Chariot for making me do this on election day, a plague upon you and your entire bloodline for a million generations), and he said everything I would have said, but with more fury, and then a crapton more. Disagree with OP outright, and I'd immediately recommend a discussion rule be made to prevent further recurrences of this topic. Most of these arguments I have dealt with personally myself back when Weekly did it first, but now Chariot has one-upped me in that.

I'm already on it for when this inevitably gets close. These arguments go back to like, 2019, and every time they get put down for the same reason.

As you can probably tell, I also disagree with the post.

With all due respect, I don't see why we should. This debate has been had for quite literally the better half of a decade. Every point that could be laid out has been laid out and then some.

Chariot's post is comprehensive and has overwhelming evidence against OP. Whatever reply the OP could provide runs the risk of stonewalling, simply retreading the OP, or as seen in this thread by other users, taking things out of context and making bad arguments off of that. Furthermore, staff have almost unanimously disagreed and have expressed exhaustion with this topic being relitigated endlessly for years. I doubt there is an argument that could change their minds.

If OP's reply does do any of these things, or just straight up isn't convincing, then yeah, close the thread, but they should at least be given a chance to say their piece in response.

Actually, having read the whole thing myself (with scrutiny), I actually also agree with Chariot on this. The arguments are sound and do explain most of the issues I had with the feats and scaling. The only issue I really had left were SBR characters being MFTL but that's already being fixed to scale more so into the supersonic-hypersonic tiers, which I have far less problems with.

I still have an issue with using Dio's THE WORLD to scale Diego's THE WORLD as that could create consistency issues with the rest of the verse (especially Johnny), but the rest is fine with me. Yall can close
