for how fast the arrow was moving? i'm not sure if that would work. whether jon is superhuman or not, kit harington certainly isn't. for the sake of scene looking good they would've had to delay the arrow reaching him so that it could be timed with him moving to block it.

We've been over this. The guy is holding a big shield and the guy shooting the arrow is right in front of him giving away the entire trajectory. He's not even trying to hide where he is aiming. It's aim blocking. Jon already knew where the arrow was coming to hit him. That being subsonic is, and excuse me here, literal wank. Sorry.

it's a reactionary feat. the point isn't that he's moving his massive shield a couple centimeters. it's that he's reacting to the arrows after they're shot. i already said he probably can't move faster than an arrow.

If Rob Stark was equal to Jon in terms of fighting prowess, he should probably scale, yes.
