So, would that be inconclusive? Because DIO is taken care of low difficulty, but with Ice, there's no real guarentee that he'd be able to ever even hit him.

i wouldnt say low difficulty unless like, Joseph ******* rigs his mansion full of explosions in the prep or comes prepared with UV lights like Stroheim. But he could do both so I guess.

Cream is a toss up, if Vanilla decides to wait till he knows Joseph is dead he wins.

If he gets lured out somehow or gets tricked into coming out he loses.

Both are likely options seeing how unstable Vanilla is, he could easily do both.

Where is it said that Cream protects VI from the sun when he's not in a void?

Also the fact Vanilla Ice doesn't know he's a vampire could help Joseph a lot.

The fact that he's inside Cream? The fact that while Ice is within Cream's mouth, void or not, he's protected by everything other than what directly connects with his face as he's litterally in another dimension. Plus wearing your stand protects you from outside interference so even if Vanilla wasnt litterally in a alternate universe, Cream would protect him anyway.

Im pretty sure Dio would give him a heads up. If it's like 12pm mid day.

In that case I don't really see Joseph winning since Vanilla Ice doesn't have any reason to step out of Cream entirely. I vote for the vampires I guess.

Ooo I actually just thought of something. First, he fights DIO and (as we've decided thus far) kills him. While he fights, he could record DIO's death scream. Next is Ice. If Joseph lures Ice into an enclosed space, he can track him by the destruction he causes. At that point, Joseph can play the death scream, luring out Ice and Hamoning him. If it were anyone else, this probably wouldn't work, but Ice is so crazy for protecting DIO, Polnareff literally told him he's a vampire, yet he charged straight into sunlight... twice... right after being told...

I was under the assumption Dio and Ice start in ike the same location, teambattle and all.

And yeah, that scene was awesome actually, Pol's like in my top 5 jojo characters just for that scene, straight face 100% deadpan telling Ice to go to hell then pushing him into the lightwith a light push is badass beyond belief, it's honestly probably my second favorite scene in Part 3.

But yeah, good point, I was thinking of his anger over what Iggy did but Vanilla was so protective that he did something he knew could kill him and only started to hesitate, not back off though, only hesitate, after his arm and leg was ******* vaporized.

You're right, my "plan" only works if Joseph can split them up or take advantage of DIO's arrogance to 1v1 him, like Jonathan vs Dio (before Dire scared him).

😂yeah Polnareff straight up snapped his neck, watched him freak out, and then assisted his suicide. Badass

DIO, being as arrogant as he is, probably thinks that if he could beat the geezer once, he can do it again, telling Ice he'll take care of it himself. Joseph leads him to a shack (similarly to their race to the rooftop). DIO monologues arrogantly, and Joseph uses Zoom Punch. DIO laughs and steps backward out of its range, only for Joseph to open his hand and release two Hamon infused clackers. With his other hand, Joseph throws up some hair and creates a Hamon Hair wall. DIO reacts by freezing time and knocking projectiles toward Joseph, only for timestop to end, but have the projectiles blocked by the wall. Joseph then sets off the two grenades he had planted at the entrance of the shack, currently behind DIO, with a string buried under the sand attached to the sole of his shoe. DIO is blown forward into a Rebuff Overdrive to the skull, killing DIO instantly.

The problem with this is that it's a 1v2, so even if Joseph manager to counter Dio, he still has to worry about Vanilla Ice which he doesn't have the ability or arsenal to counter. Also, there's nothing stopping Dio from just stopping time the moment he sees Joseph and finishing him like he's did to Polnereff (except he didn't kill him). Plus, grenades won't do much considering Dio has a high regen and both Ice and Dio are immortal.

(Sorry for the late reply :p)

For the 2v1, Joseph would have to be smart enough to know to either try to take them both out with a trap (like trapping DIO and Ice in the same room, but trick Ice into thinking Joseph is in there and DIO isn't, effectively getting Ice to kill DIO, which would definitely cause Ice to lose his mind, making him an easy target) or divide and conquer (the seemingly more effective strategy).

But now that Joseph knows all the quirks of TS so things like Hermit Purple stop The World from punching, Hamon Hair Wall to stop projectiles, etc.

Also, in that little hypothetical situation, the grenades weren't for damage, they were for propulsion and discombobulation so DIO couldn't dodge or TS when Joseph use Rebuff Overdrive on his face.

The only problem with a trap is if Dio has to chase Joseph, Dio could stop time to set up his attack with knives around Joseph. When time resumes, Joseph gets hit by knives and Ice finishes him off by erasing him.

Either way, Joseph has nothing to counter Dio instantly stopping time and Vanilla Ice would just tear Joseph apart.

But that's the problem with being a one trick pony vs someone with a week of prep: Joseph can counter anything DIO might do, and Ice is mentally unstable to the point that if Joseph divides and conquers, if DIO dies first, Ice is basically a human-shaped lump of "kill me"

Joseph can only counter within his ability. He has nothing against timestop or cream's ability. There's nothing stopping Dio from stopping time and killing Joseph instantly. Or Dio can expose Joseph's location so Ice can get the kill. Guns and grenades won't do anything since they can dodge explosions and gunfire. Joseph has nothing against them.

Prior knowledge and 1 week of prep entirely stop DIO's chance of being able to stop time and kill Joseph instantly, on top of his arrogance about Joseph (his only prior knowledge on Joseph is beating his ass without TS with low difficulty). If DIO sends Ice, he'd be doing half of Joseph's job for him, on top of the fact that Joseph can monitor Ice in the same way

Reminder about the OP: Joseph Joestar has one week of preparations and prior knowledge of DIO and his timestop. Joseph is also incredibly wealthy, so try to keep in mind what a man of his intellect could do with prior knowledge and 1 week of preparation

Just because he prepares for his time stop doesn't mean that he has anything in his arsenal that can counter it. Again, all Dio has to do is stop time, walk up to him, and kill him. If Dio was just to arrogant to do it, he'd let Ice fight Joseph, and when Joseph is cornered, Dio can go in for the kill. Which is why I said Joseph couldn't handle a 2v1, especially not old Joseph who needed assistance for all of his fights in part 3. The same Joesph, who thought the Sun was unbeatable. With all the abilities Dio and Ice have, it's a clear stomp. Just because Joesph knows about his powers doesn't mean he has to the tools to defeat him.

First, it's mighty presumptuous to think DIO would even get a chance as opposed to falling for a trap before even getting to Joseph. Next, Hermit Purple vest stops physical contact unless DIO wants to go down with him, and Hamon Hair Wall stops projectiles, so what else is there? DIO can't hit Joesph.

If DIO wanted the kill to begin with, he'd do it himself. If Joseph's Ice, he's fighting Ice. I don't see DIO's pride EVER allowing him to tag-team someone he beat by himself without even using TS. Joseph is literally at his strongest with two things: prep and knowledge. Of course if they tag team and fight they're going to win, but Joseph also knows that. If anything, it's becoming increasingly clear that this might be a stomp in Joseph's favor. Maybe a week was too much time. Ice is involved to balance the sheer insanity Joseph can come up with within a week, but it just might be too much time.

Also, Joseph's need of assistance in other fight and his thoughts on The Sun are Non Sequitur fallacies. They have nothing to do with the current fight, nor were they under even remotely similar circumstances

But like, Joseph can't be hurt by Dio. If Dio can't touch him due to a hamon coating and projectiles are rendered ineffective. Then all Dio has left in his arsenal is to throw something big enough that would instantly kill Joseph. And with a week of prep and Joseph's influences he could clear out most objects able to do that. Dio here may aswell not even be in this fight. Nice to see a Joseph vs Ice fight tho...

Joesph is gonna get rid of every single knife and brick in Cairo? He'd have to do stuff along those lines to null that. Which he realistically cannot do.

I think he's referring to the Road Roller, because, against, stuff like knives and bricks are still hard countered by Hamon Hair Wall.

Not the case with a Timestop, with which he was able to hit Joesph with said objects before he had time to react. The knife (note singular) was able to mortally wound him on its own.

Edit: DIO also has knives in his standard equipment anyways.

But now that he knows that DIO can do that, Joseph can just drop Hamon infused hair the second the word "The" leaves DIO's lips. Also, Joseph could just as easily sit in a room with UV lights blaring and wait for DIO to walk in, or he could fill the room with Hamon infused Chaff and fans, and DIO wouldn't be able to even launch something into the room, let alone enter it

He could also disguise the UV Lights and bait DIO into walking in. Even if he stopped time, he'd die instantly once they flared up. (Edit) Also, bombing the place might work, since Dio has weaker regen now. However, we should consider what is in character for Joseph to do in this sort of situation. Considering he didn't even bring any UV lights to Egypt, this Batman-style planning sounds a bit OOC for him

See, that's the thing: Joseph has never been put in such an advantageous situation. Before, he was tagging along with the Stardust Crusaders, who had there own tempo, plus Jotaro could practically beat anyone by himself, so something like 1 week of prep with him trapping up Cairo didn't seem necessary. Now that he's by himself and in this situation, Joseph's definitely the type to use every possible advantage
