Such a nostalgic game, used to play this in the ps2 when I was younger.

Weaker weapons gradually damage and destroy small building sized bosses and robots, though that takes a while afaik.

The large beams from the mothership regularly vaporize humans, which is 9-A according to our references for common feats. The players can withstand said beam.

So the players should be 9-A/Small Building level (at Normal/Weak Weaponry key) based on this feat? A link should be fine to show, before requesting it to be calced.

I'll play through all MS games one of these days, maybe the characters being just glass cannon is gameplay stuff. There must be an instance where they survive explosions or something that gives them greater durability.

That's probably great to think/talk about (given Steven's mention about surviving mothership's large vaporizing beams above).

Another thing is the amount of giant vehicles that marco and his friends have defeated in the series, it's so consistent that i think they should normally scale to them, at least with a Heavy Machine Gun.

So, if we ever consider including MSA profiles, do you think that would even be possible? There's likely a bunch of feats but the scaling would be a mess.

Maybe that would work. Some variants are probably going to be keys (Marco's first two current would be combined thanks to feats above).

Yeah, the problem would be finding a transcript to all story cutscenes and there's a new one every week since 2016, but i guess the descriptions on the character profiles/Another story missions might lead into something.

Feats from metal slug 3 should make them at least 9-A physically and hypersonic in reactions thanks to the fact characters can tank football sized meteors and dodge them during the final mission.

You only need calcs for the AP of said meteors.

Metal Slug: We've got spaceships, aliens, and giant enemy crabs! Holy shit.

Also, the protagonists of Metal Slug can demolish ******* buildings with their weapons.

I know, right? (Scaling with King of Fighters characters may work via Ralf/Clark/Leona normally, other characters on Metal Slug Defense and Fio's appearance in KoF 2006/Maximum Impact 2; same potentially goes to Samurai Shodow characters via Nakoruru in XIV since KoF is a crossover series)
