After Eddie died, he became a ghost. He was described as walking information and as a fragment of data. Souls shape the universe, and the mind imposes order upon time.

- Reality, everything from matter to mathematics, physics, and quantum mechanics—is merely a symbolic manifestation, a physical expression of information that exists so it can be manipulated. Scientists strive to study and compress information into higher forms of symbology. When they succeed, it is by internalizing these higher forms of symbology and embedding them into technological devices, allowing the creation of matter itself or the achievement of perpetual motion. Moreover, this higher form of symbology is also known by another, more informal name: a “cheat code''.
- This is crucial, as magic has been explicitly described on two occasions as the “cheat codes” of reality and creation. Magic is symbology too. Consequently, magic is fundamentally informational in nature - the very information that constructs and defines the universe. By extension, magic and information are interchangeable; to wield magic is to manipulate information itself. Thus, magic users possess Information Manipulation (Type 2), since information/magic underlies all of existence.
- In all things mystical, the driving force is intent reinforced by knowledge, and in this regard, magic is analogous to computer “code” and modern theories of quantum mechanics. This further strengthens the connection between the two. Molecule Man theorized that manipulating the base information of reality is equivalent to manipulating the narrative itself.
